Once upon a time, there lived a small, friendly snake in a forest. This snake was unlike any other snake in the forest, for it never wanted to harm or hurt anyone. It was always curious, friendly and gentle with all of the animals it encountered.

The snake was always on the lookout for new and exciting things to explore and learn about. One day, the snake stumbled upon a small pond at the edge of the forest. It had never seen anything like it before, so it decided to take a closer look.

As the snake slithered closer to the edge of the pond, it heard a soft, gentle voice. It was coming from a small frog sitting on a lily pad in the middle of the pond. The snake was mesmerized by the voice and, without thinking, it crept closer to the frog.

The frog was just as mesmerized by the friendly snake as the snake was by the frog. The two of them started talking and quickly became the best of friends. They shared stories about their lives and their adventures, and the frog even taught the snake some new tricks.

The two of them spent every day together, and the snake started to feel like part of the pond. It was happy and content, and it was so grateful to have such a wonderful friend.

The two of them remained friends for many years, until one day, the snake had to leave the pond. It had to go find its own adventure, and eventually, it did. But the memory of its friend, the friendly frog, stayed with it forever.
