5 Minute Freewrite - Looking at Snow

Little Johnny looked out of the window. Everywhere was covered in white. Looking at the snow, he felt weird as Christmas is over and spring is supposed to follow suit. He wanted to look at flowers blooming and chase after butterflies.

However, this did not stop little Johnny. Snow or not, he wanted to head out to play. He grabbed his coat, his snow cap and mufflers then headed out of the house to play with his pet dog. Using his little hands, he gathered the snow on the ground to form a snowball and threw it a distance away for his dog to chase after. This gave his dog the much needed activity to keep warm in the cold weather.

After many rounds of throwing and chasing, little Johnny's pet dog run towards him and licked him. They were having so much fun that it is already lunch time. Little Johnny dust off the snow off his coat and also his dog then headed back home for a nice hearty meal.
