Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Jack who loved to go camping with his family. On one such trip, he brought along his new pen knife that he had received as a gift from his grandfather.

As they set up camp, Jack couldn't wait to try out his pen knife. He found a stick and began to carve it into a small figurine. But as he was cutting, he accidentally slipped and cut his finger.

Panicked and bleeding, Jack's parents quickly tended to his wound and scolded him for not being careful with the sharp knife. Ashamed and upset, Jack vowed never to use his pen knife again.

But the next day, while out exploring the woods, Jack stumbled upon a trapped bird with its foot caught in a thorn bush. With no one else around to help, Jack remembered his pen knife and carefully cut the bird free.

From that day on, Jack learned to respect the power of the pen knife and how it could be used for both good and bad. He continued to bring it on his camping trips, but always used it responsibly and never forgot the lesson he had learned.
