Carrie is on vacation and wanted to cook some of her speciality dishes for her family. She went to the market and bought all the ingredients she needed then headed home to prepare the ingredients to be ready for cooking.

She washed the fresh vegetables to get rid of any worms or pesticide remains, then soaked the preserved vegetables to reduce the saltiness. After that, she checked on the fresh duck that she bought. After a first wash, she checked for feathers and then proceed to pluck the duck feathers that weren't cleared by the market. And after all that is done, she put all of them into a slow cooking pot to simmer to make her speciality preserved vegetables duck soup.

While that is being cooked, she proceeded to cook other items and within an hour work, she is done with cooking. And that is when her family members start to come home from school or work. They had a good time enjoying the good food prepared by Carrie over dinner.
