Kauman Batik Village, Solo

The batik village is located near the palace and Klewer market. I tried walking around the batik village, which is like an alleyway. With many indigenous people living there for a long time. Kauman is the name of the village, in central Java, the name Kauman is usually found near the grand Mosque.

Welcome to Kauman batik village. Smile, great,be polite, and respectful. Respect local residents..maintain good environmental cleanliness. That's the information I read on the board.

For visitors who bring vehicles, the management provides parking. Kauman batik village attractions that can be seen include houses that functions as batik shops, restaurant, front yard decorated with ornaments that can be used as photo spots.

Not only that, visitors can see people making batik, visitors can also practice batik. Buildings with Javanese and Dutch architecture can be seen in the batik village.
