Market friday : Shoping at the supermarket
How are you friends? I hope you are always healthy and happy. This time I will share the experience of going to one of the supermarkets in the City of Sukabumi west java. Thanks #Marketfriday by @dswigle as host.
Shopping activities can not be stopped, because of necessity. Shopping is often done because the reserves of kitchen necessities at home have run out. The prices of the goods to be purchased are quite stable.
Except for cooking oil and chicken eggs for these two item the prices go up and down, but this time the prices seem to have fallen by around 10 percent, needs that I buy such as chicken eggs at this time at 30.000 idr or ($2).
Cooking oil is made from palm oil and domestic products, the price of cooking oil is 18500 idr or ($1,23).
Kitchen powder seasoning cost 10.500 idr ($0,71) and cost 9.900 idr ($0,6) with small size.
Soy souce as a food seasoning made from soybean seeds, small size 9.500 idr ($0,63).
Factory made coconut milk in small size cost 9.500 idr ($0,6).
Liquid deodocizer for clothes cost 3.000 idr ($0,23) small size used during ironing.
Small size hair cleaner at 17.000 idr ($1,16).
Ready to use flour for processing medium sized meals at 5.900 ($0,39).
The price of instant noodles is 1000 idr or ($0,06), there are instant noodles to prices is 1900 idr or ($0,12).
Australian grapes cost 27.000 per kilogram ($1,8).
During the month of Ramadan, every shop sells dates, these dates come from the middle East, such as Saudi arabia, Tunisia and prices vary the price of dates for 500 grams is 48.000 idr ($3,2), there is price of 57.000 idr ($3,8), there are also dates from Medina at 162.000 idr ($ 10,8) for 500 grams.
The shop I visited,every Eid al-fitr sells simple packages which include cooking oil, peeled peanuts, wheat flour, butter cookies,bottled soda, and orange drink, the price around 150.000 idr or ($10).
Money spent 350.000 idr or ($23,33).

Don't the prices go up during Ramadan? In some places, it does but seems like the prices stay the same or go lower for you. I was wondering how many eggs that is for that price.

@dswigle it's true all price went up before ramadan, and entering ramadan some prices went down like chicken egg, intially it had gone up 32?000,- idr and now the price is 29.500,- idr. Price are all still rational. Thank you for your support, and hope you are always healthy, happy day.
