A trip to kashmir in snow 2026

hello everyone .Hope everyone is doing great.I am back in this community after a very long time to share with you guys how snowy days are spent in kashmir. I had a semester break and i was in kashmir.On a random day,we were visiting our relatives in trarkhal and in the morning i woke up wiwith this view..

> I was so shocked cause it didn’t snow like that for almost 6years now so i was simply not believing my eyes.It was a mixed feeling cause my phone was almost dead and in snow there would be no power for days in kashmir.Anyways i slept for another 3hours and then wore the coziest outfit and a puffer and started the practical life. First thing you do when it snows heavily is clean all the snow if you have a mud house.Me and my mum got ready and started helping our relatives to clean their roofs so the water will not seap inside the house. After cleaning the rooftop,we were so tired and as we were about to finish,snow started again.Then we just left it and went inside cause we were so cold.Now it was afternoon and light was still gone.I was a bit frustrated.Then i joined my aunt to keep myself busy.She checked on all the animals and then she fed the pigeons,cleaned the cows and then she went out in snow to bring the food for the cows which we usually store outside in winters and cover it with plastic sheet. We enjoyed alot in snow cause we awaited for this moment then the light was gone all light and it was snowing continuously so it was bit boring so we just sat in kitchen around fire and sang some songs. Moving to day 2,the snow stopped,it was sunny outside but the snow gathered on groud was alot.It was more than foot tall.There was no electricity so staying inside rooms was very claustrophobic so we decided to do a little camp outside.We brought a little chimney with us and decided to make biryani there.Mu brother arranged the dryy wood and started the fire and i washed the chicken,rice and all other things.The weather was so nice.The snow was looking straight out of a disney movie.Everything was looking so good. Then we played in snow but i didn’t capture alot cause i had limited battery.Then i did a little photoshoot and it was it for day 2 and still no power. I prayed all night for power cause mu phone was basically working on my cousin’s laptop and now it was dead too but thankfully i had a good company all this time.Honestly staying away from your phone,social media was so hard then i realised how dependent we are on our phones.Anyways on day th three,there was still no light so we ran out of clean water.My mother asked us to go and get some water from the natural water source near their home so we all picked our bottles and started our journey. It was so slippery guys.we barely escaped from breaking our bones.All day i was praying for light,and when i reached home after fetching the water i saw the light and i was so happy the power was back.I charged all my gadgets and everything was looking morw beautiful now. On the next day,we decided to visit my mamu’s home.He knew we were visiting our aunt so he arranged a dawat for us.The weather was nice but the snow was still there still we got ready and went there. They own a very beautiful white cat so we also played with him and it was such a fun day. They also have a very cute baby so we played with him I am posting this now cause the internet was very slow there anyways that how’s a real lifestyle from a mountainous area looks like.Hope you guys enjoyed reading my post Here are some other pictures cause i clicked so so much pictures that’s all from my side. byyyy
