Needleworkmonday:Crocheting a mini duck keychain

hello everyone.Hope everyone is having a great weekend.I am good too.
New semester just started from this week and due to some government holidays it was a very long weekend so i was free the whole time and decided to crochet a keychain for my new semester bag.
Guys i have started my 4th semester which sounds crazy to me.The time is passing real fast.I also have been on ecency for more than a year now.This platform really hepled me to improve my skills and built an audience.Anyways talking about the keychain,this is the keychain i was talking about

I wanted to make it with white yarn but i thought i should make it with yellow yarn cause it will not get dirty.Today was sunny,so i opened the window and started to crochet.I crocheted after a very long time so i was really enjoying myself.Let me tell you the steps of how i crocheted the keychain

Steps

I started byy making the head first.The pattern was
R1:6sc in MR
R2:6inc
R3:(sc,inc)6
R4:(sc,inc,sc)6
R5-7:24sc
R8:6sc,4inc,4sc,4inc,6sc
R9,10:32sc
R12:(sc,dec,sc)6
fastens off

In the next step,i made the body.The pattern i used was
R1:6sc
R2:6inc
R3:(sc,inc)6
R4:(sc,inc,sc)6
R5-7:24sc
R8:(sc,dec,sc)*6

Then i attached both head and body with needle.I really dont like sewing at all.I patiently attached the parts and started on all the small components.

Then i made the cap,little wings and foot of the duck.I didn’t take pictures of those parts if you want the pattern of cap,let me know in the comments.
Guys i was so determined to complete this amigrumi in one go,i started it after lunch time and completed it without any break and then had dinner.My back was hurting so bad but i was so happy with how it turned out

When i was clicking the pictures i realised it was not doing justice to my project.I looked way better in real life.I am planning to crochet more.I really enjoyed my time crocheting.It stops me from overthinking stuff

I still have to add keyring to the duck but i will do it some other day.Anyways it was a fun project,i am also planning on making a beanie and muffler so stay tuned.
