There's a huge issue when it comes to making lots of money, and that's changes in your social status. This may turn into a problem when you start to forget who your real friends are for parasites or pests. It's a very common thing - where you find someone who became rich and forgot those that helped him/her when things were bad.

Sometimes, it's because of ideas changes. Most times, in order to change your financial level, you probably had to change your thinking first. That's why, you tend to start thinking a little different from your old friends. But what you must realize is that, you don't have to spend too much time with them, but don't completely turn your back at them.

Even as you make new friends, ask yourself - what value does this person bring to your financial life? Usually new friends that aren't business associates or don't help your finance grow - are there to make you indulge in things you never planned to. And make expenses you never planned to incur - all to what end?

It's really sad when you start spending tons of money on people who did not help you at all in climbing to the top. They don't understand your story. They never sowed into your future, but you let them reap from you continuously. Whereas old friends who helped you with money and other things - sometimes you forget them.

At least, once in a while, if time doesn't permit you - do something good for good old friends. These are the people that tell you the truth to your face, and wish you truly the best of luck. Don't be so forgetful of the pivotal roles that they played in you achieving success. This is a very useful thing to understand and be aware of.
