Lebanese, Arabic and Turkish Cuisines...

No time like family time. There I said it. Friends are important, work friends are important, colleagues are important, but there's nothing like a day out with your family. Family has a different meaning to alot of people. For some its their blood relatives, for some it includes their girlfriends/spouses as well and for some, friends are family too. For me, family is someone I know will have my back in the hardest of times.

We had been wanting to get our hands on traditional middle eastern cuisines for quite some time now. Shifting back to Pakistan from Middle East had a lot of drawbacks, for example not being able to have their dishes. Recently we heard that there is this new eatery which offers middle eastern food. My eldest brother decided to take the whole family out to this restaurant called ZEYTIN

It was soo crowded even on a week day it seemed half of the town is in here. Anyway, we had already prebooked so we were directed straight to our table. It took us quite some time to order the food as everyone wanted to try something different. My mom being the mastermind she is suggested we should order a family platter and some other dishes with it to try. So we ordered a Family Platter which included all sorts of dishes such as Türkis Kebab, Arabic meat, Lebanese cuisine and other stuff as well. Another thing that we ordered was Dajjaj Faham which is basically an Arabic dish consisting of rice and grilled chicken. For sweet dish, we ordered Qunafa.

The food was mouth watering. I mean, this is the closest I have tasted to what I was used to eating in other Arabic countries. The chicken was tender and extremely juicy. The lamb, exceptionally well cooked and the beef was well marinated as well. My parents liked the food alot as well and that was the most important thing for me.

That's me waiting helplessly for the waiter to bring our order lmao. Anyway, talking about the billing it was qyite reasonable considering the quality of the food. The whole food costed us:

After having food, we drove off to our house but on our way back my mom had a sudden craving for an ice cream so we made a pit stop at McDonald's to get their Ice cream and McFlurry.
