Greetings friends of Hive Pet. It is always a pleasure to stop by and tell stories and experiences with pets. This time the story is not about my dogs, Muñeca and Coco, who always make me happy with their witticisms. As an animal lover I don't like to see them suffer, that's why I pray not to see cases of abandoned animals, they make me very sad and even more when for some reason I can't help them.
I don't know if it has happened to you, or you think like me, but, the meowing of a baby kitten is similar to the sound of some birds. When I hear this, I want to believe that this is not an abandoned baby feline. Cats reproduce more times in a year than dogs and that is why there are more cases of abandonment, it is very unfortunate. On Monday when I was arriving to work, I heard that dreadful sound, I kept thinking "I hope it is a bird", but when it sounded for the second time I knew it was a kitten, what pain I felt when I saw it in the middle of the sun crying and in that field, the same one from where I took Coco the puppy.
I thought he was dying and I would at least put him in a safer place, in the shade to cross the rainbow. I watched as the black dog approached him, sniffed him but thank God she didn't do anything to him. As soon as I entered and dialed the assistance I went to see the kitten, to my surprise he was not dying, I cleaned the dirt he had on his little face and inside his mouth, I could not leave him, so I brought him home, that day I left earlier to take care of the baby. It pained me to leave him there, dying of hunger or he would be run over by one of the cars.
I didn't know what to feed him, cow's milk is bad for them, so I asked a girl who has rescued baby cats and she gave me a tip, make him a homemade rice cream, which consists of soaking the rice, about half a cup, then liquefy it, put it to cook and in half a cup of the rice cream add a teaspoon of powdered milk. She told me that it has worked well for her and good for me too. It has been quite an experience to keep this baby alive, I don't know how to give him the food, I tried first with a dropper and then with the syringe, it's better. The kitten sucks on my finger while I put little drops of food, he eats it all, thank God. Then, my nerves were focused on his defecation, I remember that a friend told me that the baby kittens she was taking care of died because they could not defecate.
When they are small they need their mother, but she is not there, so they cannot defecate on their own. To simulate the warmth of the mother's tongue and help him, I pass a cotton ball soaked in warm water over his genitals and so far he has done his needs. I have been taking care of this kitten for 4 days now, he is starting to walk and his little teeth are about to come out. Soon I have to deworm him and I hope he will be one month old so he can start to eat by himself and find him a good home.
That Monday that I found him at my work place, I didn't feel well and I almost didn't go. I can't help but think what would have become of him if I hadn't found him. I hope all goes well.

Saludos amigos de Hive Pet. Siempre es grato pasar por aquí y contar vivencias y experiencias con las mascotas. Esta vez la historia no se trata de mis perros, Muñeca y Coco que siempre me alegran con sus ocurrencias. Cómo amante de los animales no me gusta verlos sufrir, por eso ruego no ver casos de animales abandonados, me dan mucha tristeza y más cuando por algún motivo no puedo ayudarlos.
No sé si les ha pasado, o piensan igual que yo, pero, el maullido de un gatito bebé es similar al sonido de algunos pájaros. Cuando escucho esto, quiero creer que no se trata de un bebé felino abandonado. Los gatos se reproducen más veces en un año que los perros y por eso hay más casos de abandono, es algo muy lamentable. El lunes cuando llegaba a mi trabajo, escuché ese temible sonido, me quedé pensando "ojalá sea un pájaro", pero cuando sonó por segunda vez supe que era un gatito, que dolor sentí cuando lo vi en medio del sol llorando y en aquel terreno, el mismo de donde saqué al cachorrito Coco.
Pensé que estaba moribundo y que al menos lo pondría en un lugar más seguro, en la sombra para que cruzara el arcoiris. Vi como la perra negra se acercó a el, lo olió pero a Dios gracias no le hizo nada. A penas entré y marqué la asistencia me fui a ver al gatito, para mí sorpresa no estaba moribundo, le limpié la tierra que tenía en su pequeña carita y dentro de la boca, no pude dejarlo, así que me lo traje a casa, ese día me fui más temprano para atender al bebé. Me dió dolor dejarlo allí, muriendo de hambre o que fuera atropellado por uno de los carros.
No sabía que darle de comer, la leche de vaca les cae mal, así que le pregunté a una chica que ha rescatado gatos bebé y me dió un dato, hacerle una crema de arroz casera, que consiste en remojar el arroz, aproximadamente media taza, luego lo licuamos, lo ponemos a cocinar y en media taza de la crema de arroz añadir una cucharadita de leche en polvo. Ella me dijo que le ha funcionado bien y que bueno que a mi también. Ha sido toda una experiencia mantener a este bebé con vida, no se darle el alimento, probé primero con un gotero y luego con la jeringa, es mejor. El gatito succiona mi dedo mientras yo le voy colocando pequeñas gotas de alimento, se lo come todo, gracias a Dios. Luego, mis nervios estaban centrados en su defecación, recuerdo que una amiga contó que los gatitos bebé que cuidaba murieron porque no pudieron defecar.
Cuando están pequeños necesitan de la madre, pero ella no está, no pueden defecar solos. Para simular la calidez de la lengua materna y ayudarlo, le paso un algodón empapado en agua tibia por sus genitales y hasta ahora ha hecho sus necesidades. Ya llevo 4 días cuidando a este gatito que ya está comenzando a caminar y apenas se le sienten sus dientecitos, estan a punto de salir. Ya pronto debo desparasitarlo y espero que cumpla su primer mes para que comience a comer solito y encontrarle un buen hogar.
Ese lunes que lo encontré en mi sitio de trabajo, no me sentia bien y estuve a punto de no ir. No puedo evitar pensar que hubiera sido de el si no lo hubiera encontrado. Espero que todo salga bien.

Amiga,se lo que se siente, mi hija la semana pasada también encontró un gatito recién nacido, aún no abría sus ojos y lo lanzaron a un caño. Cuando ella pasaba con su pareja lo escucho llorar. Su novio de inmediato se metió allí a sacarlo y estaba bañado en charco, llegó a casa llorando con el y lo limpiamos y se lo pegamos a nuestra gata Daniela que esta embarazada, ella lo acepto perfecto lo cuida como a su bebé y el está tomando de sus tetas. Porque ya ella está produciendo. Gracias a Dios. Me indigna ver cómo hay personas sin sentimientos. Dios lo puso en tu camino, porque harías una buena labor. Abrazos 🙏🤗

Realmente es muy triste ver animalitos abandonados, yo tengo que verlos con frecuencia por donde vivo y realmente me parte el alma y mas cuando no sabes como ayudarlos porque en mi caso vivo alquilada y no me permiten mascotas. Que bueno que este bebé cuenta contigo, parece cosas del destino que justamente ese día casi no vas al trabajo y terminaste yendo.
Le deseo la mejor evolución del mundo a este pequeño minino porque como dices cuando están tan pequeños es difícil que sobrevivan sin la madre, más no es imposible por supuesto. Mucha salud para él y para ti y que ese bebé esté destinado a un hermoso nuevo y cálido hogar muy pronto.
