Netflix's Live-Action Avatar: The Last Airbender Set To Release In 2024

Netflix has released pictures of Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series which is scheduled to be released next year. There is no thriller yet but before the year runs out Netflix will release a thriller of the show that got people glued to their screens eighteen years ago.

This is not the first time the ATLA live-action has been made. In 2010 the first live-action was released in theatres around the world. The budget for the movie cost 150 million dollars and it made 319 million dollars at the box office. It might look like a win but the movie got serious backlash from fans and even though there was a plan to make part 2 of the movie, it could not be done and as a result, it got cancelled.

Converting animation to live-action is not an easy job and I would love to see how Netflix takes on this challenge. I just hope they can deliver because no one wants a repeat of what happened in 2010. The Netflix live-action will be different from the 2010 movie. Netflix is going to recreate most of the episodes of the original animated series in the live-action.

The Netflix live-action is going to have eight episodes in the first season. This has been confirmed by Avatar News, not sure how they managed to recreate all the scenes in the animation to the live action, but I also heard they will cut some scenes away. I wonder how it will turn out but I just hope they do a good job.

The casting has been perfect for me, although I have not heard of them before. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and wait to see how they take their roles. This series has to be a success because Netflix has spent a lot on this project. It is currently Netflix's most expensive show with an estimated cost of 15 million dollars per episode, which is a total of 120 million for eight episodes which has already been confirmed.

There are not many updates on the film, but I promise to write more about it if anything comes up. So guys this is where I say goodbye. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
