Now that things not confirm as is how we all should move on in our country, when will school restart, when will food businesses pick up, I make sure I wake up daily to give thanks for whatever I can give thanks.
This was a throwback post, somewhere last week. We gave thanks for awesome food for the day, while remembering some who do not have food in stomach daily.
Mum and dad decided to order on behalf of us some awesome food. The restaurant is newly opened in the month of April, and the best is they are from Penang and of course selling Penang food. We all from Malaysia know that Penang is food heaven. The restaurant highly recommended his customers to try their best seller Penang Hokkien Mee, which is noodle soup. What makes it special is the broth is made by boiling shrimps and prawns heads and shells for hours till the aroma comes out. They include chicken bones as well. I have to tell you, we drank the soup till we lick the bowl. Haha... So so yummy!!!
Prawn Mee (Penang Hokkien Mee)
The fragrance of the prawn broth soup is irresistible if you are lover of prawns. Every mouthful is full of satisfaction and the prawns and meats are fresh, you can tell it is not leftover food for days. My husband and I were really satisfied after our lunch.

Mee Jawa
This is one is made using yellow noodle is it savoury sweet sour broth, and super matched with potatoes, meat, tofu. Not everyone love Mee Jawa but it is my favourite. This plate was shared between me and my husband, so you can tell how much we ate that day.
After we received these food from the restaurant's delivery service and consumed them, mum and dad called said they made pumpkin 'kuih' for us.
Wow! Awesome food again!
Pumpkin Kuih
Pumpkin kuih is different from pumpkin cake, it is made by using rice flour, pumpkin (of course), shallots, dried prawn, meat, mushroom, and steam it. Super duper yummy that we can eat it for every meals plus snacks. Haha! Dip with chilli sauce, delicious to the max! Since my mum, my mother-in-law is from Penang so this is Penang food too.
Who else loves Penang food?
❤️Love from me❤️

It's interesting how Malaysian cuisine is very diverse.
Yeah. It is due to the multiracial in our country. Thank you @macchiata :)
