Big🐟❤️ / Delicious Lunch
Wow!
Was my first reaction when my brother passed this big wild tilapia fish to me. We call it St. Peter's fish. His friend went fishing once a week and always never failed to catch many fish of this species. He would passed a few to my brother.
There are alot of tilapia fishes at supermarkets here as well but I seldom see such huge and bulku fat one. This is a joy. Next, how to cook it?
Curry and Steamed Soy Sauce
Since most members in the family love curry so I had decided to cook fish curry and for the youngest 6-year-old boy, steamed fish for him. After descaled the fish, cleaned and removed all the gills and stomach etc, I chopped the fish into two parts.
The smaller tail part would be used for steamed soy sauce. The bigger part would be for curry! Like this, everyone taste buds would be satisfied.
First, stir fry julienned ginger and chopped garlic with one tablespoon of oil, drizzle them on the cooked fish and add some soy sauce, voila! Easy peasy!
The curry sauce I cooked by using premixed seafood curry powder, just follow the instructions. Once the fish is cooked, pour the curry soup on it. Another voila!
Lunch time!
I also cooked anothet pot of spinach soup with anchovies broth. And yummy for the tummy for everyone.
