Mother's Day / #throwback Sunday
I know, I know. Father's Day is coming soon, and I am here blogging about my previous Mother's Day celebration. But, I was swayed by everything packed schedule and I somehow forgot to pen down this awesome day. And I wanted it to be in Hive blockchain forever, so here you go. :)
Happy Mother's Day
Of course, to start the blog with this wonderful photo with the boys. I became a mother once they existed, right? I didn't know how much I can love and be hurt if is not because of them. I didn't know I can be so strong, as strong as Wonder Woman had not I given birth to the boys. PUSH!!! The wonder of giving birth. The wonder of loving a baby in the womb you haven't even met face to face. I AM HONORED TO BE A MOTHER.
Awesome breakfast
The day started with wonderful aroma from the kitchen. They asked me to stay in the room first after brushing teeth and washing up, because they wanted to prepare something special for me. Then, tada!
Simple breakfast but definitely fulll of love. I ate it with gladful heart. My favourite scrambled egg prepared by the boys with alot of help from the father. And my cup of coffee. I just waited in the room like a queen while they prepared and when they were done, the boys held my hand to the dining table, I sat down and ate like a queen too. Lol... The youngest one proudly exclaimed he did the bread and cheese, hehe. The simplest full of hearts breakfast.
Extraordinary lunch
My friend prepared this awesome dish — red wine chicken for me, a food that I would not cook as I didn't have the red wine. I personally didn't drink wine but when it comes to dishes cook with wine, lovey dovey! I could eat it on its own, and super yummy with a bowl of warm brown rice. The smell of the ginger and red wine, was ooh-la-la. My stomach was extremely satisfied.
Fantabulous dinner
Hubby came home with this spread of 'dimsum', needless to say, my favourite. If not because of lockdown, we would have visited DimSum restaurant dinner. I truly enjoyed the dimsum; my favourite fishballs, 'siu mai' aka steamed minced pork ball, chicken feet, pork ribs in Szechuan sauce, wrapped chicken drumsticks, brinjal and bittergourd stuffed with fishballs, glutinous rice. I will show you all the zoom in photos.
Not forgetting also mother-in-law sent some roasted duck for us. We were blessed!
Don't be jealous, okay? 😜 I do not live my daily life like this. Usually just normal simple stir fry food and work from morning till night to attend the home and children matters. So just a day to enjoy like a queen and other days to enjoy being a mother. Trust you are fine wherever you are. 😍
❤️Love from me❤️
