It had been busy days before Christmas Eve till today. Hope all of you are well. I am late to the greetings but I still want to greet you Merry Christmas and may you end your year with peace in hearts and joy overflowing.

My husband decided to bring us out for dinner instead of cooking at home or ordering turkey to home for feasting. This place that I had been wanting to go but no chance, finally we got to dine there. We were glad we made reservations because it was full house half an hour later after we arrived. Show you my yummy food first.

This restaurant is situated at KL East Mall, Kuala Lumpur. I love the simple ambience, not very big restaurant but cozy enough for gathering and meals. They served very heavenly Western Fusion food.

There were a group of big family reserved this whole section for them, some birthday celebration.

Heard that their selection of cakes are tip top but both my husband and I are not so into cakes, so we skipped. I couldn't take a proper picture of the cakes as there were a group of ladies standing in front of it for quite some time. This is the best shot.

Food

All of their food is delicious, and highly recommended by everyone who had been there before. My husband had dined here for few times with friends and told me how nice the food was. So I was waiting for the day.

Crispy Skin Salmon

I couldn't skip anything salmon, so when I saw it, I straight away order. It was fried rice with crispy skin salmon and the salmon itself, garlic fried rice with fragrant garlic chips, tempura soft shell crab, baby spinach, togarashi scrambled egg, ikura, seaweed served with yuzu soy. It was so so so delicious.

Our drink was something watermelon with longan, I forgot what it was called because my husband was the one ordered it. Super refreshing drink.

Nachos with cheese sauce

The boys wanted to munch something while waiting for their pasta and soup, so they ordered nachos with cheese sauce. Very special as it consisted of pomegranate too. Finger-licking yummy sauce and my boys literally licked their fingers after eating the nachos.

Roasted Pumpkin Pesto Linguini

The pasta was so so good with generous amount of mushrooms, roasted pumpkin, baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and very well done pesto sauce. They usually don't fancy pesto but for this one, they super love it.

Soup of the day

The soup of the day was creamy pumpkin soup and lo behold, it was the youngest son wish to have pumpkin souo. Lucky him. I tell you, this was the best creamy pumpkin soup ever. One bowl not enough, later on, we added one more.

The boys couldn't stop saying that the food was great.

Nasi Daun Pisang

My husband ordered rice dish, more towards Malay type of cuisine. Nasi Daun Pisang is Malay language, meaning rice leaf banana. It was grilled banana leaf turmeric rice served with barramundi fish sambal, grilled stuffed squid (oh my so delicious), with crispy soft shell crab too and acar. My husband totally loved this food, eating while nodding non-stop.

I would definitely come back again to try their other food. They have their Christmas special menu but we didn't feel like having them. However, no harm showing you guys the Christmas special menu.

We give thanks for a special year 2021, despite the epidemic and bad weather, God has been good and faithful to us. We pray that everyone will experience joy, love, peace, and strength, no matter where are you or what you are facing.
