It takes nothing to be kind but being unkind comes with its drawbacks.

I was thinking after seeing the news on TV the other day, how people can sleep peacefully after doing so wrong to others! Doesn't they feel anything inside?

The news was about a financial scam that happened in my country. People lost millions after investing in a random nameless company. I could question the stupidity of people. But again, not everyone is smart. It's not an act of man to take advantage of others lacking knowledge.

This is maybe something different from what I was trying to say. But the message is kinda similar.

I never believe, people can be happy if they do something bad. Our misdeeds come with their paycheck. There will be some ways people will get hurt, maybe mentally they will never be in peace because of their deed. You can name it karma or God's punishment. This is what I believe.

On the other hand, it takes nothing to be kind. You may have known thousand of examples about this. You also may have felt the same from others many times. Like a random kindness from others sometimes melts our heart.

I would not claim I'm a man of the highest ethical standard. Because I know I also do wrong sometimes. But when I act rude, maybe, unintentionally to someone it aches my heart until I do something good for them again. It takes nothing to be kind. Some good words, a small hug is enough to show our kindness.

You don't have to do ate, buy breakfast for your colleagues, provide shelter to the homeless. Just some kind words for them, not doing anything harmful is enough, you know.

I believe, it's more complex than we think about being unkind. Not just being mentally unsound but what negative impact we do by being unkind is enormous, what we usually can't feel or see in our bear eyes. We become the cause of many others' sorrow, tears, and hardship. This will never go well, you know. Their blood, sweat, and tears will make us pay back in other ways.

It's not worthy to be unkind, so better to be kind.
