It's Saturday Again, Huh? | LarryIsAlive

Just like that one week has passed! I remember that we were excited last week as we were headed out to the cinema. Black Panther : Wakanda Forever was worth our time. It provided temporary escape to a forgettable reality. LOL! I personally think it's a fitting tribute to its main lead who unfortunately succumbed to colon cancer at a young age. I admire Marvel Studios for not recasting so soon. Eventually down the line, someone else will need to take the mantle, but that time isn't now. I do wonder about companies that only care about the bottomline -- profit & more profit.

I guess we appreciated the movie too 'coz we lost someone very dear to us last year. We're also in the process of healing. It does take time. After all, I've been with Mom for almost all my five decades of existence. You can't just brush it off that easily. It still surprises me that I can function almost normally most days. I guess I just push it away and bury it deep. I do hope I'm healing properly. LOL! But that's a topic for another day. Let's just enjoy another weekend.

I'm finishing my daily surf on TAB as I'm working on this post. LOL! I will be finished in just a little bit too. That will give us time to watch one movie so my daughter could sleep earlier as she's not feeling too good again.
