That Sunday Smoothie | LarryIsAlive

Alas, it was one of those Sundays when I woke up just at the right time. Took my time in starting my day and proceeded according to my normal flow. I wanted to do more but after feeding the cats and watering the plants in the garden, I felt some pain that made me slow down my activities. It's one of those times when I could say, "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." I planned out to clean up a bit more but had to rest instead. 😕😖

That Sunday smoothie that my daughter made. I recently bought an upgrade of our blender. The old plastic one fell when one of the cats jumped on the table. It had some tiny crack and the last smoothie I made was leaking from the jar. It had to be replaced. Anyway, it was more than four years old. This one has a glass jar, so we store it inside the kitchen cabinet.

Ingredients for this included mangoes and frozen mixed berries. Voila! That's the end result that we enjoyed the whole day (from lunch to dinner). It's great when we get to treat ourselves from time to time.

Can't believe my one and only work day off is ending again. Boohoo! I swear I want at least two days off. 🙃😝 (Note to self: work towards that goal!)

Despite my pain, I feel that it was a productive day somehow. I did what I could do. I suppose I will just subdivide my other pending tasks during the week. Major cleaning can be left to next weekend.
