If you're a fan of walks, beaches, and vacations with friends, it's a pleasure to share with you my visit to one of the most beautiful beaches in the "Jardines del Rey" archipelago of my city, Ciego de Ávila, Cuba. We're talking about the turquoise waters of Flamenco, located right on the shore with its white sands and elegant pink birds.

Si eres fans de los paseos, playas y vacaciones entre amigos; es un placer compartir con ustedes mi visita por una de las playas más hermosas del archipiélago "Jardines del Rey" de mi ciudad Ciego de Ávila, Cuba. Estamos hablado de las aguas turquesas de Flamenco ubicada en primera línea con las arenas blancas y aves rosadas elegantes.

To get to the beach, our friends booked a day-pass with the Cubanacan agency on one of the air-conditioned and comfortable coaches from the Transtur chain.

We arrived between 8:30 - 9:00 am, the perfect time to secure a cabin in the area and spend a lovely afternoon among friends.

Para trasladarnos a la playa, nuestras amistades reservaron en la agencia Cubanacan un pasa día en uno de los ómnibus de la cadena Transtur, climatizado y confortable.

Llegamos en un horario de 8:30 - 9:00 am especial para ocupar cabañas de la zona y pasar una linda tarde entre hermandades.

Speaking of what Playa Flamenco is, I'll tell you that it's located on Cayo Coco, one of the keys in the province of Ciego de Ávila, and it's one of the most beautiful beaches in Cuba and our Caribbean.

It presents itself as a beach with crystal-clear water, gleaming sand, and is unspoiled. It stretches for 3 km; it's located 10 km from the Cuatro Caminos roundabout, and the area offers light nautical services, horseback riding, barbecue grills, and a bar.

Hablando de que es Playa Flamenco, pues les comentaré que está localizada en Cayo Coco uno de los cayos de la provincia Ciego de Ávila, y una de las playas más bonitas de Cuba y nuestro Caribe.

Se presenta como una playa cristalina, reluciente arena y no explotada. Contiene 3 km de longitud; se encuentra a 10 km de la rotonda de Cuatro Caminos y en el lugar se ofrecen servicios náuticos ligeros, paseos a caballo, parrillada y bar.

When we arrived at the swimming area, we noticed it had a lookout point, a beach ranchón, and a restaurant serving international food.

The lookout point was closed to the public, possibly for maintenance. But the beach ranchón offered some tropical cocktails, natural juices, and piña coladas. It has little cabins for total relaxation, allowing you to enjoy the sun, the sand, conversations with your partner or friends, and the natural surroundings as an essential part of the experience.

Llegando a la zona de baño, notamos que contaba con un mirador, ranchón playa y restaurante con comida internacional.

El mirador estaba cerrado al público, posiblemente por mantenimientos. Pero el ranchon-playa ofrecía algunos cócteles tropicales, jugos naturales y piña colada. Contiene unas cabañitas para la relajación total del disfrute del sol, la arena, conversar en pareja o amigos y el entorno natural como parte esencial de la experiencia.

We went for a walk along the beach to look for shells, pretty sea snails, and explore the surroundings.

Along the way, we observed that tourists can enjoy and experience this unique adventure on the coral reefs, home to one of the most beautiful marine views in the Caribbean, with an abundance of fish and exotic species. A glass-bottom boat, called the Glass Bottom Boat, with panoramic glass sections, is available for rent.

Salimos a pasear la playa, buscar conchas, caracoles bonitos y conocer sus alrededores.

En el camino observamos que los turistas pueden disfrutar y vivir de esta experiencia única en las barreras de coral y una de las vistas marinas más bellas del Caribe, con abundancia de peces y especies exóticos, se alquila la embarcación con fondo de cristal llamada Glass Bottom Boat con secciones de vidrio y cristal panorámico.

Among the photographs I took, I tried to represent our HIVE blockchain and leave our mark on the beach. Not to mention the visit from a charismatic crab who wanted to say hello lol.

I rented a kayak or canoe for 600 Cuban pesos to appreciate the sea up close and observe the maritime environment.

It was just me and my girlfriend @karoly in the kayak; her daughter only took photos because it was a bit too dangerous to take her into deeper waters.

Alquile por un monto de 600 pesos cubanos un kayak o canoa, para apreciar el mar de cerca y observar el ambiente marítimo.

Solo fuimos yo y mi novia @karoly en el kayat, la niña de ella solo se tomos fotos porque era un poco peligroso llevarla a aguas más profundas.

We also reserved a catamaran ride there, all together with the friends from the trip, for a cost of 1000 Cuban pesos. This excursion on the waters with their pleasant temperature and excellent visibility was a calm, one-hour ride along the kilometers of beach.

Wearing life jackets was mandatory for safety, especially since we were with two minors. Another important detail is that children ride for free.

También ahí reservamos un paseo en catamarán todos juntos los amigos del viaje, por un costo de 1000 pesos cubanos. Esta excursión entre las aguas de temperatura agradable y excelente visibilidad, fue un paseo tranquilo por una hora de viaje en los kilómetros de playa.

Como seguridad era obligatoria los chaleco salvavidas y más que íbamos con dos menores, otro dato importante los niños no pagan.

I took many photographs of the sky and the crystal-clear waters. As a recommendation, bring your sunscreen, hat, camera, and if you wish, request snorkeling gear. For an additional cost, your experience will be even more attractive.

This way, you'll be able to better enjoy all the maritime excursions and watercraft that the center offers.

Realice muchas fotografías al cielo y las aguas cristalinas. Como recomendación llevar su protector solar, sombrero, cámara y si desean pidan artículos de buceo, por un costo adicional les será más atractivo.

Pues podrán gozar mejor de todas las excursiones marítimas y embarcaciones acuáticas que ofrece el centro.

It was a fun, interesting, and very beautiful trip to Playa Flamenco. The guide was attentive, explaining about the place, sharing a bit of history, and suffering through the screams of the child who was afraid of the sea and the movement of the waves haha.

In the end, the photo that marks the iconic day among friends and the unforgettable enjoyment of the day trip.

Fue un paseo divertido, interesante y muy bonito por la playa flamenco. El guía atento con las explicaciones del lugar, un poco de historia y sufriendo por los gritos del niño con el miedo al mar y el movimiento de las olas haha.

Al final, la foto que marca el día icónico entre amigos y el disfrute inolvidable del pasadía.

To conclude, some bathers were fishing and I captured a photo of the moment, along with some very friendly seagulls, which is why it's considered a natural paradise.

Its dreamlike beaches and rich biodiversity, both terrestrial and marine, have made it one of the best beach destinations in Cuba, ideal for those seeking relaxation on the beach and a tranquil atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.

Para finalizar, algunos bañistas estaban pescando y capture una foto del momento, además de las gaviotas muy amables, por eso considerado un paraíso natural.

Sus playas de ensueño y su rica biodiversidad, tanto terrestre como marina, lo han convertido en uno de los mejores destinos de playa de Cuba, ideal para quienes buscan relax en la playa y ambiente tranquilo fuera de bullicio.

Ok, me enamoré de todo aquí, comenzando con las imponentes nubes en el cielo azul, incluso esas últimas fotografías donde se acerca la lluvia, que bárbaro!!!! Te diré que ese día no tenía muchas ganas de tirar fotos. Pero bueno el tiempo climatológico me ayudó mucho a embullarme y obtener algunas fotos bonitas.

La playa es cristalina, con sus arenas blancas y varía ofertas que gustan al turismo, pero si vienes por primera vez te recomiendo Playa Pilar es la mejor de cuba y conocida en el Caribe. Saludos bro y gracias por comentar !!
