Today I'm going to show you how to make Om Nom, the main character of the puzzle game series "Cut the Rope", using foam clay. Buenas Noches familia #diyhub, amantes de los trabajos manuales y artesanías, el día de hoy les enseñaré a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) a Om Nom, el protagonista principal de la serie de juegos puzzles "Cut the Rope". Espero les guste la creación, a toda la comunidad en general y yo súper contento en presentarles mi experiencia con este material flexible. ¡Acompáñame!

The inspiration for this project came thanks to ideas from Pinterest, where I discovered Om Nom, the main protagonist of the puzzle game series Cut the Rope. The goal of the animation is to feed him candies by cutting ropes and using various elements from the video game, such as air cushions, magic hats, anti-gravity buttons, and other objects.

I really liked this character because of his frog-like appearance with teeth, but he is a very sweet and curious creature. Now I share with you the design I made in foam clay for the community. I know it's not much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.

La inspiración para este proyecto llegó gracias a las ideas de Pinterest, donde descubrí Om Nom, el protagonista principal de la serie de juegos puzzles Cut the Rope. El objetivo del animado es alimentarlo con caramelos cortando cuerdas y utilizando diversos elementos del videojuego, como cojines de aire, sombreros mágicos, botones antigravedad y otros objetos.

Este animado me gusto mucho por su apariencia de rana con dientes, siendo criatura muy dulce y curiosa. Ahora les dejo el comparto el diseño que hice en foami clay para la comunidad. Sé que no es mucho, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte. Link externo

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

In the initial phase, I start by taking a portion of green clay to make the character's body. Then, I mold it into a ball shape with my hands, giving it a curious finish.

En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color verde para realizar el cuerpo del animado. Luego, con las manos moldeó en forma de bola, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

Next, I develop the character's body parts: its head, its wide-open mouth, its teeth, its big eyes, its hands, its feet, and the stem on top—always giving it my best.

Seguidamente, desarrollo las piezas del cuerpo en el personaje, su cabeza, su boca bien abierta, sus dientes, sus ojos grandes, las manos, sus patas y el tallo de la parte superior, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

Finally, we do the finishing touches on the eyes and the candy, using shades of red, black, and white. This design is a bit more complex, since the parts are smaller when it comes to molding.

Ya por último, realizamos los retoques finales en los ojos y el caramelo, con tonalidades de rojo, negro y blanco. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

It's worth noting that this design was sourced from Pinterest, but the actual creation of the character is done by me, with dedication, so they look even nicer in your home or bedroom.

Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado en Pinterest; pero la realización del animado es hecho por mí, con dedicación para que luzcan mas bonitos en tu hogar o dormitorio.
