I have been on Hive for a short period of time and over this period I have learnt a lot of new things, things ranging from educational, philosophical, emotional, and financial. Hive is the closest I have been to understanding blockchain, prior to this time, whenever I hear anything pertaining to blockchain I always take a step back.

I see anything crypto as one complex phenomenon that my little brain is not ready to assimilate just yet.

If we are having a conversation and you bring up anything concerning crypto, I will just look dumbfounded, nothing to say or contribute, nothing at all at all. Funny how I see it as mathematics, I really hated mathematics back then in school. I think if a math’s problem and money is placed side by side, that is, if the condition is to solve the problem and get the cash, my dear I will just walk away 🙈. Lol but don’t ever place any other thing that is not mathematics side by side with money and expect me to bail out because I’m not going anywhere till I solve that problem😅

My hatred for mathematics got in the way of learning crypto, when i see people making it in the crypto world I am always happy for them especially women because I see it as a trailer load of work.

Ever since I joined Hive, I noticed I am getting more and more curious about crypto and the whole blockchain thingy, Few weeks ago I even asked my friend if he’d be willing to teach me, trust me I am so surprised of how far I have grown so yes Hive has been a good influence .

My writing skills were suffering before now, the only time I write is whenever something good or bad happens to me, I quickly pen it down in my diary, even when I started my journey on Hive it was pretty difficult to keep up with writing but these days I just see myself writing. I am not running out of ideas anymore and I am keeping up.

Writing to me is therapeutic, just like I said earlier, I write only memorable things in my diary and whenever I feel a certain way, I just write, so Hive has been able to make my writing constant and not a once in a blue moon thingy.

I am not a social media person, I barely post my pictures, writeups or even comment on people’s post but i see Hive as a Safe Haven to let out everything, without being judged or laughed at rather you are encouraged, supported and are force to see things in a different light.

I have so many things to share here, I have written some articles on my notepad but I rarely get enough time to post them, I am still trying to balance work and writing so its gonna take a while to get use to everything.

I am so happy to be here, if I was to choose again, I would choose Hive over and over again.
