The Sad Reality of Kindness

The saddest thing to ever happen to kindhearted people is to change because of others. Despite how wicked the world is, it’s safe to say that we still have people who genuinely care, people who are kind and wouldn’t think twice before helping others. Sadly, the world breaks this set of people; it makes a mockery of their kindness and inadvertently makes them become who they are not.
They make them wicked and self-centered, just like the rest of the world.

Being kind-hearted is now seen as being foolish and weak. It’s so sad that we no longer celebrate these people, but rather we call them different kinds of names and make them feel stupid for helping people.

To me, these people are phenomenal, it takes one with a good heart to put the needs of others before their own, that’s no weakness, that’s strength, and one worthy of all the celebrations in this world.

Kind-hearted people always fall prey to scams and are always taken advantageu io of by the people they help. To them, your well-being comes first before full scrutiny. They wear their compassion hat and spring into action immediately. In that moment, nothing in the world matters to them except you. You remain their priority until they are sure you are fine.

Yes, they get judged for not doing proper research before diving in to help. Yes, they get laughed at for falling prey to malicious scams. Does it hurt? Absolutely!! But sometimes they have no control over these things. They are empathetic and their hearts move faster than they can ever stop it.

The world is a wicked and tough place to be in, having people who understand this and try to make it a better place by being kind to others is heroic, contrary to what the world thinks or says.

Whenever I see a kind-hearted person, I always pray that they don’t change because of the horrible experiences that they've had with people. I always pray that they don’t become wicked and cold, and not give a hoot about people’s feelings again.

It’s always sad to see kind-hearted people turn a new leaf, and sadder to stare at their cold eyes and see nothing but pain and retaliation in them.

If you belong to the category of people I have just described, I want you to know that you’re not alone.
You are unique and the world needs more of your awesomeness in it. Tune out the nay-sayers and the gossip, and do what you love to do. Don’t stop, don’t compromise, do it as you’ve got this!
