Yippppeeeee!!! It’s my first Anniversary on Hive!

This is my first time tagging so many people so please forgive me😃

I have been thinking of the best anniversary post to come up with, should I start like this or that but I finally let my heart go with the flow.

It just feels like yesterday when I was trying to sign up on Hive and my onboarder @samostically was giving me an earful on all the don’ts on Hive, “Don’t do this, Don’t do that” blah blah, fast forward to today I have assumed the role of a teacher guiding newbies which has been wonderful.

It’s been one hell of a ride on the chain, but I wouldn’t have made it without my friends who have played various roles in my journey here; some teachers, mentors, cheerleaders, comedians, etc.

Hive has done a lot for me both financially, mentally and emotionally. Within the short period of time I've been here, I have shared the most poignant stories of my life, not for once did anyone laugh at me or accuse me instead I met people who understood me, people who could relate and were ready to advise me. Indeed Hive is my safe Haven.

Hive will forever be the best birthday gift my onboarder gave to me.

How l became a writer courtesy of Hive still baffles me. Piror to joining Hive I usually ran away from anything that screamed writing as it was a very tiring activity for me, the only time I wrote was in my diary where I only wrote memorable things but today the narrative is different as this young lady here has been able to publish a handful of posts.

Hive has taught me a lot, I have had so many firsts here; first crypto experience, first blog, first web3 experience, first digital wallet, etc. I have been forced to unlearn and relearn a lot of things.
It’s amazing how from the confines of my home I can take a peek into the life of a Hivean in Australia and a Hivean in Mexico can actually read my post and give an honest review of it.

In my country where our currency keeps falling every day, Hive has provided an opportunity for not just me but for every Hivean from my country, every cent we make here goes a long way in helping us cater to our needs, indeed crypto has provided an alternate way of dealing with our currency.

A few weeks ago I calculated how much I have withdrawn from Hive and I was stunned, I was stunned because I just couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that the little activities I carry out here were able to amount to such a huge amount of money which was used to cater for my needs.

In commemoration of my anniversary, I got my very first Hive Merch and I love it! I have always wanted to get one so my anniversary was just the perfect time.

In no particular order, I want to appreciate these Hiveans whom I was privileged to meet at the very beginning of my Hive journey.

@thekittygirl whose help has been instrumental to my growth on Hive, you’ve been there from the beginning of my Hive journey, watching from the sidelines but taking note, I am grateful Ma’am🤗

@zuerich who by a simple comment delegated some of his HP to me, sir you have no idea what you did for this young lady here and I will be forever grateful for that grand gesture😃

To my resilient friends @amiegeoffrey and @kingsleyy who by 2 am are ready to take my call and talk about Hive. Where these guys get their energy from still baffles me, you guys are awesome!

To my best friend @beeeee who is actually the assistant celebrant of this anniversary as the young lady has been ecstatic ever since she heard my anniversary was approaching, I am glad you joined me on this journey.

To Uncle T @tengolotodo who will forever be in my heart for being the first Hivean to power up for me and always rooting for me, you’re the best sir!

The list of good people I have met here is so long and can’t be fit in a single post hence my mentioning of a few.

I don’t know what Hive has in store for me but regardless I am gonna keep showing up here and not just as another regular Hivean who has a Hive account but as a Hivean making an impact on the blockchain. I don’t know when I am going to achieve this but boy! I am more than willing to wait till that time.

I wish I could give all my friends and readers a big hug, not a virtual hug but heck distance keeps messing things up so I will wait till whenever I see you all and give you guys a big hug as you all are amazing, thanks for being part of my Hive journey♥️
