Tenía pendiente ver este documental desde que salió en a la luz pero no me había decidido a verlo porque no sabía que tan perturbador iba a ser el relato de las personas que estuvieron involucradas con el actor Armie Hammer y con toda la familia Hammer.

I had to watch this documentary since it came to light but I hadn't decided to watch it because I didn't know how disturbing the story of the people who were involved with the actor Armie Hammer and with the whole family would be Hammer.

Como muchos, me enteré de todo el escándalo apenas comenzaron a viralizarse las conversaciones del actor con mujeres en Instagram y de ahí en adelante, estuve al pendiente del caso y de todo lo que estaba relacionado en torno al actor y sus acciones.

Like many, I found out about the whole scandal as soon as the actor's conversations with women on Instagram began to go viral and from then on, I was aware of the case and everything that was related to the actor and his actions.

La semana pasada decidí verlo por fin y vaya sorpresa tan sorprendente me llevé mientras veía el documental, fue verdaderamente informativo y crudo, en varios aspectos; pero en general, es una historia difícil de escuchar. No soy de ver este tipo de trabajos audiovisuales a menos que requiera hacerlo y este fue el caso justo para retornar y volver a ver un documental después de mucho tiempo de no hacerlo.

Last week I decided to finally watch it and what an amazing surprise I got while watching the documentary, it was really informative and raw, in several aspects; but overall, it's a hard story to listen to. I am not one to watch this type of audiovisual work unless I need to do it and this was the right case to return and watch a documentary again after a long time of not doing it.

"House Of Hammer" es una docuserie que consta de 3 episodios donde se expone los hechos ocurridos con el actor Armie Hammer y las acusaciones de varias mujeres que fueron víctimas de abuso s3xu@l, prácticas eróticas humillantes, acoso y manipulación; estas acusaciones se hicieron públicas en el año 2021 pero datan de años anteriores.

"House Of Hammer" is a docuseries that consists of 3 episodes where the events that occurred with the actor Armie Hammer are exposed and the accusations of several women who were victims of s3xu@l abuse, humiliating erotic practices , harassment and manipulation; these accusations were made public in the year 2021 but date from previous years.

En el trabajo audiovisual, se contó con los relatos, declaraciones y pruebas físicas de 2 de sus victimas femeninas (una de ellas mantuvo una relación con el actor y la otra mujer aunque nunca llegó a conocerlo en persona, si formó parte de las victimas del actor), también de una víctima masculina (asistente) y de un familiar del actor, una tía, quien no solo forma parte de su linaje sino que también vivió abusos por parte de su padre, el abuelo Hammer.

In the audiovisual work, there were stories, statements and physical evidence of 2 of his female victims (one of them maintained a relationship with the actor and the other woman although she never met him in person, if she was part of the victims of the actor), also of a male victim (assistant) and of a relative of the actor, an aunt, who is not only part of his lineage but also experienced abuse by his father, grandfather *Hammer *.

Es un documental bastante interesante desde el punto de vista de producción, es un tratamiento distinto al que habitualmente se le conoce a un trabajo audiovisual pero guarda relación con géneros del cine en varios aspectos; tomaron como punto inicial los casos de las 2 victimas que dieron la cara en el documental y de ahí comenzó a producirse un efecto "bola de nieve", donde empezaron a hablar del actor pero poco a poco se adentraban en la vida privada de toda la familia "Hammer".

It is a quite interesting documentary from the production point of view, it is a different treatment from what is usually known for an audiovisual work but it is related to film genres in several aspects; they took as a starting point the cases of the 2 victims who showed their faces in the documentary and from there a "snowball" effect began to take place, where they began to talk about the actor but little by little they delved into the private life of the entire "Hammer" family.

El primer capitulo se centra en el actor y el escándalo que vivió gracias a la filtración de una conversación con una de sus victimas (quien no aparece en el documental declarando pero si se muestra un videoclip donde afirma que fue victima de abuso por parte del actor); una de las victimas que sostuvo una relación con el actor habló de todo lo que ocurrió durante el período en el que la pareja había iniciado una "relación sentimental".

The first chapter focuses on the actor and the scandal he experienced thanks to the leak of a conversation with one of his victims (who does not appear in the documentary declaring but a video clip is shown where he states that he was a victim of abuse by the actor); one of the victims who had a relationship with the actor spoke of everything that happened during the period in which the couple had started a "sentimental relationship".

Luego la misma mujer comienza a narrar todos los momentos en los que dudó del actor y de la relación, pero que los mismos fueron opacados por lo buen novio que era el Armie; poco después se arrepentiría dado que en su relato narra los horrores que vivió al lado de Hammer y que la dejaron severamente traumada, llegando al punto de asistir a un centro de rehabilitación porque no podía seguir en el estado en el que la relación con el actor la había dejado.

Then the same woman begins to narrate all the moments in which she doubted the actor and the relationship, but that they were overshadowed by what a good boyfriend Armie was; shortly after she would repent since in her story she narrates the horrors she experienced next to Hammer and that left her severely traumatized, reaching the point of attending a rehabilitation center because she could not continue in the state in which that the relationship with the actor had left her.

Las prácticas s3xu@l3$ que el actor se empeñaba en realizar con sus parejas lo llevaron a cometer actos que son considerados humillantes y abusivos, así lo relató la misma mujer que salió a respaldar una publicación en la que señalaban al actor como una persona enferma, manipuladora y caníbal. Los actos atroces que cometió en contra de distintas mujeres fueron expuestos en su totalidad durante los 3 episodios de la docuserie.

The s3xu@l3$ practices that the actor insisted on carrying out with his partners led him to commit acts that are considered humiliating and abusive, as reported by the same woman who went out to support a publication in which they pointed to the actor as a sick person manipulative and cannibalistic. The heinous acts he committed against different women were exposed in full during the 3 episodes of the docuseries.

Para las otros 2 episodios restantes se habla del actor, pero comienza a pasar un poco a segundo plano, porque se presenta en el documental a la mujer responsable de sacar a la luz un libro en el que relata lo que fue vivir con la familia Hammer como un integrante directo dentro de la familia, por lo que pudo vivir en carne propia los horrores que su familia cometía gracias al poder, dinero y posición del que gozaban gracias a la adquisición de una compañía petrolera que les dio acceso a un mundo de lujos y depravación.

For the other 2 remaining episodes, the actor is talked about, but he begins to go a little to the background, because the woman responsible for bringing to light a book in which she recounts what it was like to live with the family is presented in the documentary Hammer as a direct member of the family, so he was able to experience first-hand the horrors that his family committed thanks to the power, money and position they enjoyed thanks to the acquisition of an oil company that gave them access to a world of luxury and depravity.

Casey Hammer escribió un libro en el año 2015 titulado "Surviving My Birthright", texto en el que compartió como fue crecer en un hogar Hammer, repleto de lujos, dinero, prestigio y posición, todo eso visto desde el exterior, pero que a puertas cerradas fue completamente distinto; un mundo de imposición, frialdad, ausencia, abusos, depravaciones de todo tipo, violencia y traición.

Casey Hammer wrote a book in 2015 entitled "Surviving My Birthright", a text in which she shared what it was like to grow up in a Hammer home, full of luxuries , money, prestige and position, all seen from the outside, but behind closed doors it was completely different; a world of imposition, coldness, absence, abuse, depravity of all kinds, violence and betrayal.

Expuso los secretos más oscuros y perturbadores de su familia en ese libro; cuando todo el caso del actor (su sobrino) explotó, recibió cientos de mensajes de preocupación pero lo que no sabía es que volvería a la superficie el libro que escribió y que le daría sentido a todo lo que el actor estaba enfrentado.

She exposed the darkest and most disturbing secrets of his family in that book; when the whole case of the actor (her nephew) exploded, she received hundreds of messages of concern but what she did not know is that the book he wrote would come to the surface and that it would give meaning to everything he actor was confronted.

Una infinidad de crímenes, robos, sobornos a políticos y más, saldrían a la luz a través de el escándalo del actor, ya que el libro narra todos esos hechos; pero se necesitaba corroborar esa información, es por eso que trabajadores allegados a la familia Hammer se hicieron presentes en el documental y declararon como fue el tiempo de trabajo con ellos y todo lo que tuvieron que presenciar durante su paso por la casa de una de las familias más ricas y poderosas del mundo.

An infinity of crimes, robberies, bribes to politicians and more, would come to light through the actor's scandal, since the book narrates all those facts; but it was necessary to corroborate that information, that is why workers close to the Hammer family were present in the documentary and declared how their time working with them was and everything they had to witness during their time in the home of one of the richest and most powerful families in the world.

Nos dieron a entrever el patrón de conducta de los hombres Hammer, no fue el actor quien inició el comportamiento errado en la familia, éste data desde al menos 4 generaciones anteriores a la suya, cada una de ellas más perturbadora y averrada que la anterior, casi como si aumentara en tamaño el nivel de maldad cada vez que una nueva generación de Hammer llegara.

They gave us a glimpse of the pattern of behavior of men Hammer, it was not the actor who initiated the wrong behavior in the family, it dates back at least 4 generations prior to his, each one of them more disturbing and averted than the previous one, almost as if the level of evil increased in size every time a new generation of Hammer arrived.

Narrar los abusos que sufriste cuando solo eras unas niña, hablar de todos los vicios y desastres que viviste en casa de tu padre, el maltrato y la humillación que atravesaste en silencio por muchos años, no debió ser nada fácil de enfrentar; esta mujer calló por muchos años su historia, por miedo, pero logró contar su verdad y el mundo llegó a escucharla alta y claramente.

Narrating the abuse you suffered when you were just a child, talking about all the vices and disasters you experienced in your father's house, the mistreatment and humiliation you went through in silence for many years, must not have been easy to face; This woman kept her story quiet for many years, out of fear, but she managed to tell her truth and the world came to hear her loudly and clearly.

En lo personal, el documental me dejó bastante perturbado, no supe que hacer luego de verlo. Es muy diferente leer toda la información relacionada al tema pero llevarlo a un trabajo audiovisual y tener fuentes acreditadas que validan la información, tener el aspecto humano y emocional frente a la cámara, haciendo declaraciones tan fuerte sobre temas sensibles para mucho, es otro nivel de producción.

Personally, the documentary left me quite disturbed, I did not know what to do after seeing it. It is very different to read all the information related to the subject but to take it to an audiovisual work and have accredited sources that validate the information, to have the human and emotional aspect in front of the camera, making such strong statements about sensitive topics for many, is another level of production.

Hay mucho por contar y mucho por decir, pero lo dejó a ustedes; si son de los amantes de documentales, no duden en ver "House Of Hammer" porque es un trabajo muy real y fuerte de ver, pero creo que vale la pena tomarse el tiempo para verlo porque nos da los hechos en base a evidencias, testimonios y anéctodas ocurridas en la perturbadora familia Hammer.

There is much to tell and much to say, but he left it to you; If you're a documentary lover, don't hesitate to watch "House Of Hammer" because it's a very real and strong work to watch, but I think it's worth taking the time to watch it because it gives us the facts in based on evidence, testimonies and anecdotes that occurred in the disturbing family Hammer.

Espero que de todo esto algo bueno quede y que cada victima tenga la oportunidad de ver hacerse justicia por los daños físicos, mentales y emocionales que sufrieron, incluyendo a Casey Hammer; nadie merece sufrir las consecuencias de la mala vida de otros, mucho menos si esas consecuencias acaban con tu vida.

I hope that something good remains from all this and that each victim has the opportunity to see justice done for the physical, mental and emotional damage they suffered, including Casey Hammer; no one deserves to suffer the consequences of the bad life of others, much less if those consequences end your life.
