This is the most comprehensive coverage of Hive Blockchain and its ecosystem you will ever see. :)

This post was pre-written, due to the excitement to finally begin our coverage of the hive blockchain and its ecosystem.

If you're wondering what icoverage is, see this post.

Now, let's outline the coverage so far.

You can't exactly begin without tackling the underlying technology that powers the ecosystem right? This is why we decided this is where to begin.

Our coverage of the hive blockchain covers all important aspects of the network ranging from how it started without giving much attention to the parent chain.

We figured that most "introduction to hive" posts have one common flaw, and that's the lacking of "explanation structure"

That said, so as not to fall under the same category and make this a better and more resourceful alternative to other coverages out there, we decided to break the coverage into sections.

The first section is:

hive blockchain n.jpg

What Is Hive Blockchain?

Covering the technical aspects of things, explaining the technologies of the network and how it works. Network design, consensus/governance, keys, and powerful frameworks like the resource credit structure that makes the chain feeless.

The second section is:

hive blog n.jpg

What Is hive blog?

Truth is, people see "Hive Blockchain and Hive Blog" as the same thing but it really isn't. While some people may be looking to find all the useful information about the blockchain but instead are reading about hive blog, which is just a front-end where all the back-end stuff is brought to life, we decide ok, let's separate these two and explain them better. It is now better to grasp as we made references to one another on their separate coverage.

Plus, educating people on how hive.blog works should be similar to explaining how Facebook works, thus, hive.blog is separately explained.

The third section is:

create hive n.jpg

How To Create A Hive Account

Having learned what hive.blog is, a user would need a breather before getting started. If we're being honest, when people open a blog post, some immediately scroll the post up to see the length, and others screen the post, reading headings and sub-headings.

The first person is trying to determine the length obviously, the second is trying to determine the value of the content, and most times, both people end up leaving if they feel overwhelmed.

Explanations are lengthy by default, but when it's a new topic, especially one not so often discussed, making it precise is important. Truth is, people will read three different posts on the same topic than reading one extra long post, it's weird, but that's simply it.

So then, how to create a hive account had been published on our website alongside the previously discussed topics, links are above.

The fourth section would be:

LEO n.jpg

What Is Leofinance?

Why? Well, we all are aware of the easiest and free way to set up a hive account. What leofinance is important so as to immediately create an explanatory link to the last section.

Users need to understand why the fuck they are on Leofinance all of a sudden when hive account is all they needed, feel me?

The fifth section is:

HE n.jpg

What Is Hive Engine?

Yes, can't explain how Leo tokens work without explaining the powerful sidechain to hive that enables smart contracts.

Hive Engine and Tribaldex are important at this early stage to give readers an insight into how everything just comes together…

Having said all that, the next phase would need us to explain why there are keys in the file they downloaded that they won't likely use, I mean, I believe someone is definitely going to wish to know what the public keys there are.

Also, tokenized communities need to be explained to set them aside from regular communities, thereby explaining what tags are, how they work, and how to earn more with them.

This will enable us to create better coverage of the ecosystem in the future, explaining all the ways to earn ranging from Share To Earn - with POSH and Play To Earn which will cover Splinterlands and gradually, all hive-based games.

Stay tuned by following us here on hive.

Also, we have a newly created Twitter account that needs your extra follow to build a stronger presence.

If you are on Facebook, our Facebook Family is already increasing, please join by liking us there.

Noisecash? Follow us as we bring it all back home.

Telegram? Follow our newly created channel

What's new? Asides from all that's mentioned up there, we have our logo redesigned, yes, the other one was temporary and has been ruled out. All content on our site will be updated soon enough with the new logo.

Interested in learning but in bits? We adopted the idea of Leoglossary, created ipedia to optimize our contents everywhere we go and primary to give our users a place to get quick answer with quite resourceful materials.

Although still in development, we intend to make it possible for our readers to understand every term while reading our coverages on the same page, like with decrypt media.

Ipedia looks a lot like Leoglossary except for the images(try not to use the images now that the logo on them aren't updated:) we added to give it a new look and the fact that you can just scroll through different terms on the same page.

With more hive-coverage, ipedia is going to embody lots of useful links stumbling between icoverage and all hive associated projects.

Try it out and drop us a review.

Still don't know what icoverage is? See this post.

By the way, it's pronounced as "i-coverage asin iphone" not "ico" :)

Thank you.
