I picked a card from my reading table and I smiled as I read through, this couldn't be love. With very few words I was rest assured that I had my person for life. I turned the card over and behind it I saw,

Ps: this is only just the beginning. I love you Claire.

I was literally screaming in my mind, mini me ran a marathon race in my head, rushed to the pool side and sat on those relaxing chairs as I sipped a cocktail. I was over the moon.

I wondered how on earth the note got on the table, when on earth did Ola turn to magician, how? When?

Questions ran through my mind but I couldn't answer them even if I tried so I just got on with my business of the day. I said my morning prayers, brushed my teeth, took my bath, had breakfast and wore my dress ready to trek to school for my 7 hour lecture-filled day.

I opened the door to leave the room and I found a small bag at my doorstep. I picked it up and on the handle I found a note. I read it and it said "A little piece of my heart to you. Eat this in school my queen. I love you." Ok now, I was blushing beyond control, I looked in and I saw cupcakes and chocolate. I took my bag and with all the joy within me I smiled as I walked to school.
Normal me couldn't contain the joy I got at school and my two "GOATS" heard about it and they were just screaming. The suspense was definitely killing them. Their boyfriends had already sent gifts to them but Ola definitely took this to the next level. What was running through his mind? Only he could answer this.

I tried so hard to focus in class, I couldn't help blushing at intervals or just giggling when memories of us popped up. For reasons best known to time, it ran really slow today (I need this day to come to an end, I want to know what's up).

Ola was my first love, we had been dating for one year already but it was a long distance relationship. My friends had already told me to expect to have co- girlfriends and maybe I wasn't the main one. I was scared because what they said was true but I loved Ola and all they said were just assumptions, I would never find out if they were true if I didn't give it a chance. So I gave my heart to him and hoped that he would truly love me as much as I did love him.

My 4 o'Clock alarm rang lectures were over, yayyyyyyyyy.

People were screaming because there was kind of a mini surprise in our faculty quadrangle, beautifully decorated and a saxophonist playing a beautiful love song. I am a lover of good things and besides I needed to ease my tension so I went to the quadrangle to rejoice with the person and as I stepped towards the center white balloons and red flowers fell on me. Oh! No, I had spoiled the innocent girl's surprise. I started apologizing immediately to no one in particular and then I was tapped from behind. I turned around and right in front of me was Ola. I screamed and jumped on him, I was lost in his embrace and then he looked me in the eye and said, "happy valentines day my love. Our hearts have now intertwined for they beat as one and till infinity you will be my queen" I looked him in the eye and said, "I love you to the moon and back baby" we kissed and I wished that the day wouldn't end and I heard screams from the background people screaming "awwwwwww", "God when".

And then I heard this familiar voice say "madam don't go and build a family in your sleep oh with chuckles she said wake up mumu".

Hmmmmmmmm... I guess it was tóo good to be real anyways. Í got on with my daily activities, my roommate and I wished each other "happy valentines day". I laughed at myself when I was reminiscing on the dream I had, nobody sent me to be single. Regardless, I took myself to a beautiful treat and ate everything I craved for the day, chocolate, cake, ice-cream and Jollof rice and chicken. I celebrated myself by giving me some love. Even though deep down I wish my dreams were a reality.
