My entry for the Hive Learners contest " W46E2 " | This Is My Opinion If Higher Education Is Free
Education is something that is very necessary in everyday life because as we know that we cannot live without education, therefore from birth we are educated to be better people and that when it comes to education there are various variations that can be applied it seems that before we went to elementary school we were first taught by our mothers at home and of course that was the main factor for us to know the name of education and after that we went straight to elementary school to continue to the next level and we really adapted to the environment new things and of course getting new things and that's something we often see every day and even that we have all gone through.
It has always been a very extraordinary topic when talking about education because in today's world we cannot adapt to anything if there is no education, therefore education is the main resource in our lives today In this category, as we know, if there is education applied free of charge and of course education is based on tertiary education because as we know there are several countries if basic education to high school education of course there are several countries that implement the educational process for free but of course until now no country has dared to implement tertiary education with free because of course that's impossible to happen and in my opinion it's something that is quite difficult for countries to implement because considering people who want to get a title and have to fight hard.
However, as is today's topic, if free higher education does occur, of course it will have a very extraordinary impact and it can even be said that if indeed higher education is given free of charge, in my opinion, it is something that tends to be irrelevant because as we know that at this time to achieve a bachelor's degree requires a lot of money and also requires a struggle that is quite difficult to achieve. Therefore, if there is free education, I think there are lots of people who go to college to study, but with these factors it makes a person not smart if he is. education is provided free of charge.
Now, in today's world, let's just imagine that there is nothing in this world that is free, even the slightest thing we do, everything requires money and money is the main source that people are looking for. Therefore, if there is no money, of course, everyone doesn't like it. do something and don't even have the enthusiasm to do something, therefore if you talk about free of course that's a factor that other people who do it don't want because if that happens, of course the person who does it won't do it optimally.
Just imagine if indeed one day in one of our areas it was implemented that higher education was free and in my personal opinion a lot of people went to college because they wanted to get a bachelor's degree and of course with the factor of people who study a lot, of course lecturers are also needed with quite a lot, therefore in my opinion this factor becomes a benchmark for very serious consideration for people because as I explained earlier that nothing in the world is free now so if there is something free of course teaching from lecturers for those students it will not be optimal for people to go to college to be smart by getting a bachelor's degree but when the lecture is given free of charge with so many people going to college of course the teaching will not be optimal and with teaching it will not be optimal people go to college not get intelligence but only It's just a waste of time, so in my opinion, if higher education is implemented free of charge, it's irrelevant because everyone who wants it can go, but it's a different story if higher education is given specifically to someone with other assistance. the story is because as we know there are also many people who want to go to college but are very limited by the cost but that is a factor to consider for other people too because of that they can be given scholarships and so on but if you talk about free college it becomes something irrelevant to me personally.

I totally agree with you, the price can be subsidized but shouldn't be absolutely free. People tends to take free things for granted and if education is free definitely it has lost it value. Thanks for sharing this
