MY CLEANING ACTIVITY FOR TODAY. 29/04/2024

Good morning my beloved ones. How are you all? I hope your day is going well? It's another blissful and blessed day to be @alive no matter tge situation of things around us. In my previous post I discussed about the disadvantagesof not cleaningourenvironment. Today We are going to look at the ways we can dispose our refuse properly.
Cleaning our environment is good but the way in which we dispose it also very important to look into. Not only picking wasted to keep our environment clean is important rather the way in which we dispose them is also very important to avoid making our own space clean and creating problem for others. Today I will want to discuss about the safer ways for disposal of our refuge or waste.

PROPER PLACE FOR WASTE DISPOSAL

For proper disposal of waste, below are some places in which waste can be disposed without causing any harm to us
Recycling Centers:
In this places a lot of waste are being accepted especially wates like paper, plastics, glass, metal, and electronics. And this wastes are further used FOR recycling purpose and thereby creating room for storing of raw material and this therefore lead to the minimizimg of raw materials usage and reduction in environmental pollution.
Composting Facilities:
Organic waste, such as food scraps, yard trimmings, and paper products, can be composted at specialized facilities or in backyard compost bins. Composting not only diverts waste from landfills but also produces nutrient-rich compost that can be used to enrich soil and support plant growth which will help in the production of food or both mankind and animals in the geographical area.

Landfills:
While landfills are not an ideal solution, they are necessary for disposing of non-recyclable and non-compostable waste materials. Modern landfills are engineered to minimize environmental impacts, such as groundwater contamination and air pollution, through measures such as liners, leachate collection systems, and methane capture.
Hazardous Waste Collection Sites: Hazardous waste, such as batteries, paint, chemicals, and electronic waste which are very dangerous to human being and animals, should be disposed of at designated hazardous waste collection sites which the government make provisions for. These facilities are equipped to handle and properly dispose of hazardous materials to prevent environmental contamination and human health risks.

Waste-to-Energy Facilities:
Waste-to-energy facilities convert non-recyclable waste materials into energy through incineration or other thermal processes. While controversial due to air emissions and potential environmental concerns, these facilities can help reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills and offset the use of fossil fuels for energy generation and this lead's to the reduction in price if this fuel which we use almost everyday of our life.
Although in this part of the world we are living some of this equipment are Hard to find but i think It's important for us to research and follow local waste disposal guidelines and regulations to ensure that waste is disposed of properly and responsibly. Additionally, efforts should be made to reduce waste generation through practices such as waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting, ultimately minimizing the environmental impact of waste disposal.

Today after my morning activities I am happy to be opportune to do some cleaning around my street. The picture below depict my cleaning work for today.
