Roar! The LPUD Got Sweeter this 2nd Month

The long-awaited second Leo Power Up Day came and because it's been a goal to keep participating and increasing our LEO stakes, we didn't forget to do our wee contribution today.

Staking a little over 200LEO today brought my LP up a bit making it to 3k which is a bit closer to my year end's goal. Also powered up LEO last week and while it is not counted as part of the LPUD, it is still a growth on my LP so was able to grow my stakes for about 800+LEO for the last 30 days. It's small yet but it will grow in time as long as we keep showing up and try to be consistent in contributing value to the community.

And why do we stake LEO again?

• Because we believe in the project and we want to help the ecosystem grow and consequently, we will be able to help others grow as well through our curation and then we also share from the curation rewards pool. So everyone wins, yeah?
  
  
• We are thinking long-term so we keep building today, especially that we are in the bear market and hope to thank ourselves in the future when we start to reap the long-term benefits.
  
  

LPUD is like a collective effort of the community and participating in it is motivating. I've read one yesterday that said LPUD encourages us to practice saving and I couldn't disagree because looking at it, staking LEO is like putting it into a Time Deposit account which we can only withdraw after a certain time (4 weeks un-staking period).

And the great thing is that while it is being locked up as LeoPower, we also enjoy certain benefits while helping others and the ecosystem as a whole. We cannot get that when putting funds on a Time Deposit in the bank and when the deposit matures, the bank will automatically deduct taxes from the meager interest.

Additionally, when luck is on our side, we get to win one of the several rewards specially prepared for LPUD participants.
