My first entry in the Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!. However, to my disappointment, both matches I managed to play using the rule that nullified all abilities of my monsters except the summoners ended in defeat.

The first loss served as a wake-up call to the complexity of this challenge. Instead of succumbing to frustration, I decided to analyze the situation and learn from my mistakes. I realized I needed to revamp my strategy, focusing more on the individual statistics of the monsters and the overall composition of my team. The second battle started with a renewed approach. I selected monsters with stronger statistics, including a summoner with the ability to boost its magical power, along with two physical tanks in the front prioritizing resistance and attack power. However, the opponent also adapted to the rule, and the battle unfolded unpredictably. Despite fighting fiercely, it ended in another defeat.

In the respective order of position:

• Mycelic Slipspawn
• Regal Peryton
• Queen Mycelia
• Goblin Psychic
• Ujurak Mystic

Initially, I planned to use the summoner's magical attack boost to give my magical monsters an advantage against their lack of combat abilities. However, I made a mistake in my choice and temporarily forgot that the enemy could think the same way but with a higher destructive power caused by their damage dealers. They simply formed a complete team with this strategy, adding two monsters with good maximum health, which was the differentiator, and I had no chance of controlling the subsequent attack on my tanks in the front line.

I confess that my recent choices were a bit random; I just wanted monsters with magical attack and ended up neglecting other attributes, such as speed and maximum health. Looking at this image now, I wonder why on earth I'm using the Madcap Magus with these ridiculous attributes.

After the Battle

Reflecting on these confrontations, I realized that the key to success in this type of challenge was versatility. Instead of relying heavily on unique attacks, especially magical ones, I should have created a more balanced team capable of standing out even under rule restrictions. This would involve choosing monsters with strong statistics in different areas, making my team less susceptible to twists in the game's rules.

Additionally, I recognized the importance of anticipating the opponent's strategies. By adapting my deck to deal with possible scenarios, I could have increased my chances of victory. Failing to fully consider the impact of the ability neutralization rule highlighted the need for deeper analysis before each battle. Despite the defeats, these experiences served as valuable lessons. The dynamic world of Splinterlands demands constant flexibility and strategic thinking. Now, armed with a deeper understanding of the game, I am determined to enhance my team, adjust my strategies, and face future challenges with renewed confidence. The journey to victory may be filled with obstacles.

No entanto, o oponente também se adaptou à regra, e a batalha se desenrolou de maneira imprevisível. Embora eu tenha lutado com ferocidade, acabou sendo outra derrota.

No começo, eu planejava usar o aumento de poder de ataque mágico do invocador para dar vantagem aos meus monstros mágicos contra a falta de habilidades de combate deles. Refletindo sobre esses confrontos, percebi que a chave para o sucesso nesse tipo de desafio era a versatilidade. Em vez de depender excessivamente de ataques únicos no caso mágicos, eu deveria ter criado uma equipe mais equilibrada, capaz de se destacar mesmo sob as restrições da regra. Isso implicaria escolher monstros com estatísticas sólidas em diferentes áreas, tornando minha equipe menos suscetível às reviravoltas nas regras do jogo.

Além disso, reconheci a importância de antecipar as estratégias do oponente. Ao adaptar meu deck para lidar com possíveis cenários, eu poderia ter aumentado minhas chances de vitória. A falha em considerar completamente o impacto da regra de neutralização de habilidades destacou a necessidade de uma análise mais profunda antes de cada batalha. Apesar das derrotas, essas experiências serviram como valiosas lições. O mundo dinâmico de Splinterlands exige flexibilidade e pensamento estratégico constante.
