NEWBIES INITIATIVE TASK :RECOUNT OF GOALS MADE

There's no way I would talk about my growth here on hive and the newbie initiative program won't be part of how far have come.

Thank you @starstrings01,@eddiespino, @projectmamabg, @aliento @theycallmedan for the support and guidelines I'm indeed grateful and honored to be part of the program.

The newbies initiative came with a solution while I was trying to find my way around the blockchain
It is a type of initiative that sees growth as a priority.

Before joining the newbie initiative program the plan was to go along with whichever way it comes and if things did not go as planned maybe let go but then the newbies initiative changed my mentality, gave me goals, plans, and reasons to be consistent.

It all started from the first task which was all about goals we intend to achieve by the end of the program. At first, I was afraid of not achieving my laid down goal so right in that post I did not state my goal, then I got called on by @projectmamabg who told me to be specific because it gives more reason to keep pushing when one seems far from it.

And so I listed some of my goals though I had no idea the weight each goal carried then because I was new to the system but I felt if others could do it I should be able to.
And so I listed them

1. Improve my engagement level
2. Increase my reputation to 70
3. Increase my HP.
4. Get familiar with the blockchain
   communities

The moment I listed these goals part of me already subscribed to some commitment in other to achieve the goals and so I decided to make plans in other to achieve them and decided to spend more time on hive. With that, my engagement level increased and I was able to achieve the goal of improving my engagement level which shows forth in how I got to gain more followers.

I tried a much as possible to increase my reputation to 70 but school and time management wouldn't let me, more importantly why we were told to list the challenges that might hinder achieving the goals which I did earlier on the first post. I knew school would try to hinder but then I decided to give it a try and push myself off my comfort zone.

Increasing my hp was also part of the goals though I did not attain the hp I intend to achieve but i have over 600 plus Hp now.

The community here on hive is something I devote my time to and getting familiar with them is something I did achieve as part of my goals. I got familiar with a lot of communities and it increased my visibility, gave me reasons to always be here on hive to participate.

The newbies initiative changed my mentality, gave me more reason to be active on hive and truth be told the sponsors did an awesome job supporting newbies like me and increasing my love for hive.

My goal this year is to do better on every of my previous goal.

The newbie initiative is indeed a blessing and privilege. It gave me more visibility, more knowledge on how hive works, and most importantly helped in my growth.

I'm sure the incoming newbies would see how great the newbies initiative can be of great help to their growth on hive.

To the sponsors and all who devoted their time to make the newbie's growth a priority I say a very big thank you. You all made hive a habitable place for the newbies.
