When we all unite for a common good, it is worth all the effort and sacrifice, especially when it comes to saving lives, this is the best way to lend your support to those who need it.

This is what this film is about, based on real events, we can see how a group of people unite to save Thirteen lives, a fact which undoubtedly shows us that no matter our social or national differences, we can all do our bit, all to achieve a single goal, to save a life, in this case Thirteen lives.

This is the name of the film Thirteen lives, which narrates a fortuitous event that happened in a cave located in Thailand, where 12 boys, soccer players and their coach, were trapped in the cave, as a result of the torrential rains that occurred, causing the place to flood completely, thus preventing the young boys from getting out.

In Thirteen lives we can see the arduous work that is outlined to rescue these children, however, due to the floods, achieving this goal was not going to be an easy task, a completely flooded cave, with closed roads, difficult to pass, would certainly require a good strategy to get them all out alive.

Moments of anguish, fear, desperation, impotence, all this we can see reflected in the faces of the people who were in the place, not knowing what to do, how or when to act, with the heavy rains, it was even more difficult to make this rescue.

Desperate parents, calling for support, with the only desire to see their children again, a group of rescuers, volunteers, just wanting to help, thinking about the lives of these children, what they were feeling in there, but with the biggest question of all, will they still be alive.

What impacted me the most

From the beginning we can visualize all the movement that is made for the rescue of these children, the solidarity of the inhabitants, both inside and outside the country, all of them pending, wanting to find a solution, a way, a means to get them all out of there alive.

But the only way to enter the cave was by swimming, so for this rescue many professional divers were needed, since the place was really flooded, and this was the only way to get them all out, underwater.

Taking into account that this would not be so easy, since the conditions in which the children were located was nothing close to the exit, which made the journey of swimming underwater too much for these kids.

How to do this without putting their lives at risk was, as I said, the biggest question, and as the rains continued, the site would flood more, so they had to act fast if they wanted to get them all out alive.

A story full of drama, survival, and even a bit of suspense, certainly keep you there with every scene, the way in which the events unfold, how the characters get involved, the effect that generates the desire to get these children alive out of the place.

Performance and Expectations

Among the main performances we can see Colin Farrel (John Volanthen) and Viggo Mortensen (Richard Statton), who play the role of two professional divers, who have a wide experience in going through these caves so narrow underwater, fighting against the current.

I can not deny that it was a great story, to last a little more than two hours, it was good, although there were some parts that were too much, I guess they did it to cover spaces, and meet this duration of the film, I do not know is my opinion, because I did not see the relationship with what the story was about, even so, you keep you trapped during these two long hours.

Without a doubt, telling this story must not have been easy, if we look at the whole journey, which lasted a couple of weeks, taking into account the time it took them to find the children and then devise a plan to get them out, all against the clock.

Diving is a great experience, an adventure for those who like to do this for hobbies, entertainment, or research, but when it comes to saving lives, is another scheme, questions arise, will it be feasible, are we willing to take the risk, to endanger our lives and even the lives of the people you must rescue.

Here it is as we say, we are put to the test, we must face our greatest fears, confront and fight against the current, because if you do well you are a hero, but if not then you will have to live with the guilt, being singled out and judged, that's how it is.

The part I liked the most is the meticulous way in which he shows us every detail of this rescue, with the underwater images that catch you, keep you there in suspense, waiting for the outcome, and how it will end.

True Facts

As I said a true story, this happened in 2018, in Thailand, here many countries joined, the whole population, the shock of this fact was so great, I can not imagine the anguish, the overwhelm and fear felt by both parents and children,being locked up in a place like this, the claustrophobia they must have felt, all this coupled with not being able to do more, but wait for a miracle.

How would they feel if they had to spend more than a week locked up in a dark place, with little oxygen, no water, food, it must not be easy, so many things must go through your head, the fear of not seeing the sunlight again, your family, your loved ones, for adults like these children, are moments that mark you forever.

In my opinion it is a great film, it had great performances, the director of this film Ron Howard exceeded our expectations, bringing this story to the cinema, all the tension that is lived, I really do not remember this event, but watching the movie, and knowing that this really happened, it makes your hair stand on end.

I do not want to tell you more, I think I have already told you a lot, I can only say, see it, live it as I lived it, if you like these stories based on real events, you can not miss this one, two hours that fly by, but you stay there with the expectations, waiting to see how everything will end.

As I said with an impeccable cast, so many British, Thai, American characters, all took part in this fact, as they say unity is strength, and the good ones should always be more.

Cuando todos nos unimos por un bien común, vale la pena todo el esfuerzo y sacrificio, sobre todo si se trata de salvar vidas, esta es la mejor forma de prestar tu apoyo a quienes lo necesiten.

De esto se trata esta película, basada en hechos reales, podemos ver como un grupo de personas se unen para salvar trece vidas, un hecho el cual sin duda nos muestra, que no importan nuestras diferencias sociales, nacionales, todos podemos poner nuestro granito de arena, todo para lograr un solo objetivo, salvar una vida, en este caso trece vidas.

Así se llama este film Trece vidas, la misma nos narra un hecho fortuito el cual sucedió en una cueva ubicada en Tailandia, donde 12 niños, jugadores de futbol junto a su entrenador, quedan atrapados en la misma, como consecuencia de las torrenciales lluvias que se presentaron, haciendo que el lugar se inundara por completo, impidiendo de esta manera que los jóvenes niños lograran salir.

En Trece vidas podemos ver el arduo trabajo que se esboza para rescatar a estos niños, sin embargo, debido a las inundaciones, lograr este objetivo, no iba a ser una tarea fácil, una cueva completamente inundada, con caminos cerrados, difícil de pasar, sin duda requeriría de una buena estrategia, para poder sacarlos a todos con vida.

Momentos de angustia, miedo, desesperación, impotencia, todo esto lo podemos ver reflejado en el rostro de las personas que se encontraban en el lugar, sin saber qué hacer, como o cuando actuar, con las fuertes lluvias, se les dificultaba aún más hacer este rescate.

Unos padres desesperados, aclamando apoyo, con el único deseo de volver a ver a sus hijos, un grupo de rescatistas, voluntarios, solo queriendo ayudar, pensando en la vida de estos niños, en lo que estaban sintiendo allí adentro, pero con la mayor interrogante de todas, seguirán con vida.

Lo que más me impacto

Desde un principio podemos visualizar todo el movimiento que se hace para el rescate de estos niños, la solidaridad de los habitantes, tanto dentro como fuera del país, todos pendientes, queriendo encontrar una solución, una vía, un medio para poder sacarlos a todos de allí con vida.

Pero la única forma de entrar a la cueva era nadando, por ello para dicho rescate se contaron con muchos buzos profesionales, ya que el lugar se encontraba realmente inundado, siendo así está la única forma de lograr sacarlos a todos, bajo el agua.

Tomando en cuenta que esto no resultaría tan fácil, puesto que las condiciones en las que se encontraban los niños ubicados no era nada cerca de la salida, lo que hacía que el recorrido de nadar bajo el agua fue demasiado para estos chicos.

Como lograr hacer esto, sin poner en riesgos sus vidas, esta era como dije la mayor interrogante, y a medida que siguieran las lluvias, el sitio se inundaba más, así que tenían que actuar rápido, si querían sacarlos a todos con vida.

Una historia llena de drama, supervivencia, y hasta un poco de suspenso, sin duda te mantienen allí con cada escena, la forma en la que se desenvuelve los hechos, como se van involucrando los personajes, el efecto que genera el querer sacar a estos niños con vida del lugar.

Actuaciones y Expectativas

Entre las actuaciones principales podemos ver a Colin Farrel (John Volanthen) y Viggo Mortensen (Richard Statton), los cuales hacen el papel de dos buzos profesionales, quienes tienen una amplia experiencia en recorrer estas cuevas tan estrechas bajo el agua, luchando contra la corriente.

No puedo negar que fue una gran historia, para durar un poco más de dos horas, estuvo bien, aunque hubo unas partes que estuvieron de más, supongo que lo hicieron para cubrir espacios, y cumplir con esta duración de la película, no se es mi parecer, porque no le vi la relación con lo que se trataba la historia, aun así, te mantienes atrapados durante estas dos largas horas.

Sin duda el contar esta historia no debió ser fácil, si nos ponemos a ver cómo fue toda esta travesía, la cual duro un par de semanas, tomando en cuenta el tiempo que les demoro encontrar a los niños y luego idear un plan para poder sacarlos, todo contra reloj.

El bucear es una gran experiencia, toda una aventura para quienes les gusta hacer esto por hobbies, entretenimiento, o investigación, pero cuando se trata de salvar vidas, es otro esquema, surgen las interrogantes, será factible, estamos dispuestos a correr el riesgo, en poner en peligro nuestras vidas e incluso la de las personas que debes rescatar.

Aquí es como decimos, nos ponen a prueba, debemos enfrentar nuestros mayores temores, enfrentar y luchar contra la corriente, porque si lo haces bien eres un héroe, pero si no entonces tendrás que vivir con la culpa, que te señalen y juzguen, es así.

La parte que más me gusto es la forma tan minuciosa en la que nos muestra cada detalle de este rescate, con las imágenes subacuáticas que te atrapan, te mantienen allí en suspenso, esperando el resultado, y como terminara.

Hechos Reales

Como dije una historia real, esto sucedió en el año 2018, en Tailandia, aquí se unieron muchos países, toda la población, la conmoción de este hecho fue tan grande, no puedo imaginar la angustia, la agobia y el miedo que sintieron tantos los padres como los niños, el estar encerrado en un sitio como este, la claustrofobia que debieron sentir, todo esto aunado al no poder hacer más, sino esperar un milagro.

Como se sentirían si tuvieran que pasar más de una semana encerrado en un sitio a oscuras, con poco oxígeno, sin agua, comida, no debe ser nada fácil, tantas cosas deben pasar por tu cabeza, el miedo de no volver a ver la luz del sol, a tu familia, tus seres queridos, para los adultos como a estos niños, son momentos que te marcan para siempre.

A mi parecer es un gran film, contó con grandes actuaciones, el director de esta película Ron Howard supero nuestras expectativas, llevando esta historia al cine, toda la tensión que se vive, yo la verdad no recuerdo este evento, pero al ver la película, y saber que esto sucedió realmente, te deja los pelos de punta.

No quiero decirles más, creo que ya les he dicho mucho, solo puedo decir, véanla, vívanla como yo la viví, si les gustan estas historias basadas en hechos reales, no pueden perderse esta, dos horas que pasan volando, pero te mantienes allí con las expectativas, esperando ver como terminara todo.

Como dije con un reparto impecable, tantos los personajes británicos, tailandeses, estadounidenses, todos formaron parte en este hecho, como dicen la unión hace la fuerza, y los buenos siempre debemos ser más.
