Hello my dear friends, these days something unusual happened to me, and I will tell you about it as a testimony, because I thought that this can happen to anyone, and the idea is to be cautious to avoid future accidents.

Hola mis queridos amigos, en estos días me pasó algo inusual, y se los contaré a manera de testimonio, porque pensé que esto le puede suceder a cualquier persona, y la idea es ser precavido para evitar futuros accidentes

I accepted to take care of a house, because its owner had to travel on emergency, I made a big mistake not realising the physical conditions of the house, it is very important to check the condition of the house, prevention is the best thing!

*Check the roof well
"Absolutely the whole roof was leaking, you can't imagine how shocked I was when I saw this situation".

Acepté cuidar de una casa, porque su dueña tubo que viajar de emergencia, yo cometí un grave error al no darme cuenta de las condiciones físicas de la casa, es muy importante revisar en que condiciones te dejan una casa para cuidarla, la prevención es lo mejor !

*Revisar bien el techo
"Absolutamente todo el techo tenía filtraciones, ni se imaginan lo impresionada que quedé en al ver ésta situación"

*Check the kitchen well
"The cooker had a gas leak , and was a small rodent hotel, the dishwasher looks like something out of a horror movie... when I went to use it it started making noises and the water came out everywhere, but I never used it, it's just a decoration as well as the water filter which is also useless".

*Revisar bien la cocina
"La estufa tenía una fuga de gas y una era un pequeño hotel de roedores, él lavaplatos parece sacado de una película de terror... cuando lo fuí a utilizar comenzó hacer ruidos y el agua salía por todos lados, más nunca lo utilicé, está de adorno al igual que el filtro de agua que tampoco sirve"

*Check the bathrooms
"Bathroom #1 has no light due to an electrical fault, and the sink is not working, water never came out when I wanted to wash my hands, ... One day when I took a shower and I wanted to adjust the shower , no way! I had the piece in my hands because it broke, it was rusty".
"In this bathroom I noticed a detail in the sliding door that separates the shower, it was a little bit grooved - it was total madness - that sliding door fell off by itself, it is a totally transparent glass, some pieces of glass fell off, the door was almost entirely left on the floor of the shower".

*Revisar bien los baños
"El baño #1 no tiene luz por una falla eléctrica, además no sirve el lavamanos, nunca me salió agua al querer lavarme las manos, la poceta si sirve... Un día al darme una ducha y querer ajustar la regadera, ni hablar de eso! me quedó la pieza en mis manos porque se rompió, estaba oxidada"
"El baño#2 la poceta no sirve, si llega agua en el lavamanos, en este baño noté un detalle en la puerta corrediza que separa la ducha, estaba un poco estrillado - fué la locura total- esa puerta corrediza se cayó sola, es un vidrio totalmente transparente, algunos trozos de vidrio e cayeron, la puerta quedó casi entera en el piso de la regadera"

* Check the drains
"If it rains a lot, absolutely everything is flooded, this is very important, I had no idea about this, these drains are located at the back of the property and are of no use, apparently they are also for decoration. I realised this situation one rainy afternoon, when I arrived at the house I noticed that water was coming out everywhere, and the first thing I thought of was to check the taps, I thought I had forgotten to turn off a tap and as a consequence the house was like this... to my surprise it was that the drains were not working, that was a bad day, I had to get all the water out of the house".

* Revisar bien los desagues
"Si llueve mucho, queda inundado absolutamente todo, esto es muy importante, yo no tenía ni idea de esto, éstos desagues están ubicados en la parte trasera de la propiedad y no sirven ninguno, al parecer también están de adorno. Me di cuenta de esta situación una tarde lluviosa, al llegar a la casa noté que salía agua por todos lados, y lo primero que pensé fue en revisar los grifos, pensé que había olvidado cerrar algún grifo y por consecuencia la casa estaba así.. para mí sorpresa fué que los desagues no sirven, ese fué un mal día, tuve que sacar toda esa agua de la casa"

"I like gardening very much and as I saw a good plot of land I decided to do some planting, the sun is very strong in my city and I took little breaks in the only shade in the garden, it was a roof at the entrance door, and I used to rest there every time I worked in the garden, but one day I found the roof on the ground!.... There were pieces of cement from the roof right on my little resting place, I very cordially went to visit the neighbours to ask them if they had noticed what had happened? well, nobody saw anything! now at this point I was furious, I got very angry and told the owner of the house that I couldn't look after her property anymore! How awful that day, I imagined the whole roof falling down!"

*Revisar bien el techo parte 2
"Me gusta mucho hacer jardinería y como ví un buen terreno decidí hacer algunas siembras, el sol es muy fuerte en mi ciudad y tomaba pequeños descansos en la única sombra que había en el jardín, era un techo en la puerta de entrada, y yo descansaba allí cada vez que trabajaba en el jardín, pues un día encontré el techo en el suelo!... Habían trozos de cemento del techo justamente en mi pequeño sitio de descanso, muy cordialmente fuí a visitar a los vecinos para preguntarles si se habían dado cuenta de lo sucedido?, Pues, nadie vió nada! ahora en este punto estaba furiosa, me enojé mucho y le dije a la dueña de la casa que ya no podía cuidar más de su propiedad!, ... Que horrible ese día, imaginaba todo el techo cayendo!"

I never imagined that these things would happen to me in this house, every time I came to visit everything seemed to work well, everything nice, clean and perfect.... I learned that sometimes nothing is as it seems!

Nunca imaginé que estás cosas me sucedieran en esta casa, cada vez que venía de visita todo parecía funcionar bien, todo lindo y limpio... Aprendí que muchas veces nada es como se ve!
