All my life I have always lived in my state but studied out of my home town .

I was born and breeded in IBADAN in Oyo state, I'll rather call it a city by still my home town.

I never had the opportunity to live or stay outside apart from my school days.

ABOUT

Ibadan is a popular city in Nigeria, probably the largest or second in Nigeria.
Ibadan also called '' brown roof city" is well know for it's yoruba speaking intonation, people who hails from Ibadan are best known for abusive words and thugery looks And act but I'll tell you NO.

Ibadan is also well know for it's peacefulness,mehn... Ibadan is so condusive,it's accomodating traders and people from other state abides.

In terms of natural resources,it's so deposited with marble or dolomite.

FOOD
Ibadan Is known as the source of amala and ewedu.
Amala and ewedu is mostly consumed by yoruba speaking tribe and others,they also love palm wine and pap.

DRESSING
Ibadan people are well know for agbada and dansiki made with ofi for men , blouse and wrapper for women made with ofi.

OCCUPATION
Men are known for hunting and Palm wine tapping while women are mostly traders.

TRIBAL MARK
Tribal mark is common in West Africa to show culture and tribe .
Ibadan being under Oyo state are known for their Abaja and gombo too.
lots of tribal Mark is common in Oyo but just few to mention.

DANCE AND MUSIC
Ibadan people are known for their bars dance,except from the fact that lots of modern music and dance has evolved,bata was the main dance.

MUSIC
juju, fuji apala and sakara are main music to the Ibadan native.

CULTURE AND TRADITION
As a yoruba descendant,the yoruba bata dance is attributed to sango,God of thunder and lightning
Other gods are believed to be worshiped by yoruba people such as;
Ogun; god of Iron and metal
Osun; goddess of river
yemoja: fish goddess
orunmila,egungun,way etc

Population of people living in ibadan is more than 5 million,with indigene more than 3 million.
We are known for hospitality and fast rising city.
It is recorded as the second city after lagos to have large amount of non indigenes
