Significance of weather changes
It's another time of hive learners to connect through a topic, this post is in response to hive learners weekly contest, week 102 edition 1
Of course, there are different season to different parts of the year, starting from October ending to middle of ending of February is majorly known for harmattan season which is part of dry season periods, after then comes heat period which we are currently experiencing in my part of the country, that could last around a month, and then comes raining season which last till October ending or beginning of November and recycle comes again.
That is how the season should recycle but recently there has been changes in the atmospheric condition which has greatly affect the recycle of weather which the geologist could not put explanation on, the diversity in the weather changes of different state is not becoming more rampant, I believe there should be different meteorologist for each state since the atmospheric conditions no longer correlate as we knew from the past, just yesterday I learnt there was an heavy rain in some parts of lagos which it's not even supposed to be.
We were supposed to experience harmattan around late last year but it didn't appear at all but later came early this year, which didn't even last long. It is of believe that raining season is the best period for farmers but I'll tell you “NO" every season has it's significance and important even though raining period favours the farmers more, crops like carrot, palm kernel, pepper, some fruits thrives during dry season while raining season too has it's relevance.
It's of believe that the changes in atmospheric condition is as a result of lots of factors, some believed it to be spiritually connected, believing it is caused by human sins while some believe it's due to human effect especially industrial works that leads to air pollution. Just recently we were informed by the Nigerian health system that the recent fog which was supposed to be harmattan effect is as a result of accumulation of air pollution from industrial area which spread across the city.
It's heat period and everyone is feeling it all around the nation, it's time where we all know the true importance of fan, where air conditioner owners becomes small god, but the sad part is the epileptic supply of electricity matching with the high cost of fuel.
Even though I believe raining period is preferable to dry season, as I stated earlier the advantages of dry season so also it has its disadvantages. Sadly for me, there is a road construction going on in my area and that leads to my workplace, meaning I will have to pass there everyday, it's always a rough morning for me whenever I have to go to work, recently I got sick due to the dust from the road which is inevitable, which is due to the absence of rain coupled with the situation of the economy but still I believe it's just a matter of time and everything's gonna be normal.
