Music as an important aspect of life

Music is a very important aspect of life , it's not about the sweet melody only but also music helps in building up our character. I had a discussion with a friend and she told me that she will ensure that her children our all involved in music even though they might not take it has a profession. I was curious and I asked her why she answered " it will build up their character", she went on to tell how this would happen and I would love to share it with us .

Time management; to learn a musical instrument you need to dedicate your time to it, since most of us are not in a music school we will all need to manage our time properly inorder to be able to learn this instruments, that means you will have to plan your day and activities in such a way that it won't clash. A child learning an instrument would have it at the back of his or her mind that if he or she has an hour to practice he or she must manage that time judiciously.

To learn a musical instrument one must be disciplined and avoid every form of distraction, we all know how kids can be easily distracted, the discipline gained during the process of learning a musical instrument will be transferred to other aspects of life.

A kid who learns an instrument is likely to assimilate things faster and this will help the child in his education. Imagine a kid having to learn the keys on a piano or having to learn the lyrics of a song, this means the child must be very brilliant and the same attitude is transferred to his studies he will be the best in class.

Music also gives a sense of confidence to us , singing in front of people might not be easy but when you keep doing it overtime you develop a sense of confidence and you are not scared of the crowd no matter the number. This would help a child to develop a strong character and have confidence.

Music makes us to be team players , a band is made up of different people who have different parts to play or instrument, there must be harmony and the band members must work as a team in order to produce sweet melodies. This would help us to develop people skills and also relate with others and respect the different roles they play.

Music is a very important aspect of human life,we all can't sing but we can learn how to play an instrument this would help build our character and also keep our brains active. Music truly keeps the world going.
