Optimism: my expectations for the coming months

Optimism is one of those words I love so much because it has to do with believing that the best will happen to me not minding the situation that I find myself.
This year has been a great one for me and I can say that it has been one of my best years. So many great and wonderful things has happened to me which I did not even plan for and I am very grateful to God for all the things I have achieved this year and the people I have met this year. It has been a year of growth, self development and advancement.
This year I became an Aunt which has been so amazing and interesting. I also got married to my best friend and an amazing man. It has been a year filled with celebration. The year has been wonderful no doubt but it also had moments of despair which I will tag moments of great lessons, which I am happy I have been able to learn from them.

This year I started a new job as a radio presenter, new editor and a production manager. My new job as been an amazing one and I have learnt a lot of life lessons from it. My social skills has improved a lot and also my handling of emotions and communication skills has really improved. Working in the media is not so easy because one has to have level of decorum.

In the coming days I am optimistic about getting a promotion at my work place . I was one of the staff that was recommended for a promotion examination, though I have not seen the result of the examination I am optimistic that I will be among those that will be promoted. It will be a thing of Joy to get promoted just as the year is about to end.
My younger brother just wrote is medical exams and I am optimistic that he will pass the exams and he will be a certified medical doctor. This also will give me great joy and it will be a great end to a year that has been amazing and wonderful.

In the few months ahead I have so many things I am optimistic about one been the completion of a house project which I started some months back, it will be the first house among the many I plan to build in order to fulfill my dream of owning an estate. It is a journey I started 3months ago and I hope it comes to fruition within the shortest possible time.
I also hope on buying a new truck for my transportation business, the old truck as served the company for 5 years now and I think it's time to buy a new one. I am also hoping that I will be able to purchase more trucks so as to be able to improve our service and increase customer satisfaction.

My husband started a restaurant business and it has been growing beyond our projection for this year, he was able to establish 3 branches in our city and I am optimistic in the coming months that he will be able to expand the business to cover our neighboring cities. I know him to be a very optimistic person and I know he will surely have the same level of optimism or even more.

Sometimes what we are going through in life might not even give us a chance to be optimistic but there is power in the will to believe that one will achieve great things no matter how ugly the current situation may be. Being an optimist gives one the will to pursue ones life goals. After all there is a saying that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
