I'm in catch-up mode!
It's Safety First
Oh, how ironic. Should have done this first thing this morning. Maybe it would have gotten me to slow down.
This morning, I let our old dog in the front yard, then our not quite as old dog in the side yard, because he is aggressive towards our old dog. But I knew that if I left the not as old dog alone, he'd escape the side yard and go to the front yard. So I grabbed a thing to block how he escapes, and went to go block him in. I assumed he'd stay near me because he generally likes to hangout in the back yard with me, but instead, he went immediately in the direction that he knows how to go to get to the front yard, so I gave chase, and hit my head.
And it bled and now my head hurts. I don't think it's anything to worry about, but it is certainly obnoxious.
Blech.
And I keep being worried when I feel tired that it's, you know, concussion tired. But I don't really think it is. I think I'm just tired because lately I'm always tired. It's not like I'm woozy or anything. Just sleepy. But I feel more motivated than ever to not give in to rest. Lest it be, you know, my last nap. YIKES. Don't say that, me. Now I have all these thoughts going through my head of all the awful things that have unexpectedly happened to people who bonked their heads. And last night my kid and I talked about what he should do if he really thinks I'm dead. He said he'd do CPR, but I told him he should get mommy. He doesn't really know how to do CPR, he's 7. He just shoves on you a bunch. Which is better than nothing, probably, if you're dead anyways. But getting his mom will probably help more. My mom wondered if she had been...well, if they had been closer to services when my dad died if they could have saved him. It took them 14 minutes to get there. I wonder if I could have saved him if I'd been there. I've taken CPR classes. I could have at least tried. I have a friend whose child died, who... no.. The timer is done. I don't know why I'm going down this morbid path.
mate, make sure you get a a full blood test done to find out yourself if everything is ok in your body, prevention is always better than cure
I think you need to visit the hospital
