Hello gamers, it has been a long time since my last TFT post. I love playing this game when it first came out, but then my enthusiasm slowly fades because you don't get to see new things in the game. Mostly the same compositions are played. Right now, the Lulu composition is very strong. But today we are going against the meta!

At the beginning of the game I didn't know what I was going to play, but I've always been interested in duelists. Because they are very strong in the early game and it's up to us to carry that power into the late game. I chose the Duelist crest and now we are ready!


Contrary to what I expected, the early game was very bad for me haha, there were two reasons for that. I wasn't very strong and my opponents were very strong. I played the strongest opponents in the game in a row, and my champions never got two stars.


I was also indecisive in choosing the second augment because there were not many sensible options. If I had 2 star frontline champions I could have chosen the Electrocharge augment, but it would have been useless under these circumstances. That's why I chose the portable hearth augment. Among the 3 options, I chose the Gold Collector item. If Vayne collects 3-5 gold with this item, it's worth it.


Things didn't go as well for me in the mid-game as I expected. I barely got some of my champions to two stars even though I spent my gold. Honestly, I was starting to lose faith in this game because everyone was so strong. But of course I wasn't going to give up and I was going to do my best to win.


The last augment choice was just average for me. Thrill of the Hunt was still one of the best choices. When one of my champions kills an opponent, he will regenerate 550 health. Maybe this will make my champions more tanky. We'll see.


This is the board I wanted to reach. The only difference is that all of these champions had to be at least two stars and my health was not supposed to be 24 lol. My opponents are much luckier than me because as you can see they have two star Miss Fortune. Probably when she uses her ability all my champions will die.


Duelist composition is a very interesting composition because unexpected champions can deal unexpected damage. For example, I wouldn't expect Kayle to be in 3rd place in this composition. As for the carries, Twisted Fate and Vayne are our main carries. If you are playing 8 duelists, you don't have and don't need any other carries because your other champions can also deal damage. You can also use Annie or Nilah as a tank.


As for items, Vayne is a really interesting champion because he uses all kinds of items. You can give ability power items, attack speed items or attack power items are ok. For Twisted Fate, Guinsoo's Rageblade, Statikk Shiv and Hextech Gunblade are preferred. But you can give him all your ability power items. It will work. Choose tank items according to your opponents. If your opponents are playing AD compositions, armor and AP compositions, magic resistance items will be better.


Finally, after making my champions two stars, I somehow started beating my opponents and made it to the top 4. This was a strong Draven composition, but not stronger than me.


After only 1 round I made it to the last two but this opponent was much stronger than me. I changed my formation a few times and tried different things to beat him, but in vain. He somehow managed to kill me.

General Thoughts on the Composition

The Duelist composition is a composition that you can play in any situation, if you don't do well in the early game it can be hard to recover in the late game, but if you do well in the early game you can make the Locket of the Iron Solari item. If you don't have a Duelist emblem, you can use 6 Duelists and Annie plus one strong champion of your choice. Urgot, Fiddle, Aatrox, whatever you want.
