Greetings game lovers, today we continue our fight for survival in This War of Mine. We're doing pretty well in the game right now. By the way, I saw that 11 Bit Studios, the producer of this game, is based in Poland, the country of my friend @hallmann, whom I just met on Hive. Maybe he knows them. Anyway, back to our adventure!

Day 24

Day 24 started with a lot of action. Bad news! We were attacked but we weren't hurt or they didn't steal anything. The good news is that Cveta went to the rich family's house and brought water and meat. That's good because I will need it.

I saw a report on the radio that there was a water shortage in the city and it talked about snow water. I hope it doesn't start snowing soon. I am not ready for that yet. I need to improve my stove, otherwise the people in the shelter might get sick from the cold.

By chance, I checked the stove and saw that I had enough materials to improve it. I improved it right away because even when I filled the stove to the brim with wood, it was still not warm enough in the room. What if it gets colder, what will I do?

There's still a lot of stuff in the brewery that I can't loot, so I'll go there again. So we pick up where we left off in the last chapter.

There was no one around so I looted freely. I can come back here for another week. There's so much stuff I can buy. But my priority has to be things like wood. Strangely, I have nothing to burn in the stove. I had tons of it.

Day 25

Fortunately the night was calm, as I always say I prefer calm to bad news. That goes for real life too.

Although there doesn't seem to be any bad news here, as you can see winter has arrived. This means that it will be much harder to find water and it will be harder to keep warm.

When it snows, I can pick up snow from the ground as a new mechanic. If you're wondering what that does, I'll use it to get water. I can boil it on the stove and get water.

There are two bad news on the radio. Many civilians have died from attacks, snipers and the cold. Fortunately, we are somewhat safe in our shelter. The other news is that it is going to get colder and will not get warmer in the coming days. I hope this cold will not last too long.

Another mechanic is that you can build snowmen. I don't know what that does, I guess they just added it because they thought it would be fun XD

My barter friend arrived on time, but the board looks very expensive now that winter is coming. Look at this I had to give both bandages and medicine for only 11 boards. Even that was not enough. It's annoying.

When I go looting, I don't only take the most important things. As you can see, I use some unnecessary things for bartering. Even though they don't do much, think of them as change. You also need 3-5 coins to buy something.

Since I've been attacked a lot lately, it's time to strengthen the gate. I hope this will make sure we never get hurt. Or it will minimize the amount of bullets we spend because I need it when I go looting.

At night we go to the brewery again, but this time with Bruno and we have a different goal. I've taken the axe with me and I'm going to collect as much firewood as I can. Anyway, as you can see I can't go everywhere, the snow prevents me from going there...

There was so much stuff there that I could smash that the axe got smashed from using it. I found 31 firewoods and 4 firewoods, and if I think I can make one firewood from each of them, I collected 35 firewoods in total. It was a good day of looting.

Day 26

We started the day with bad news. Cveta is sick. I hope it is nothing serious. If she's bad, I have the medicine, luckily.

Meat in the trap after a long time! I need it because maybe I won't be able to go foraging at all in the days to come. I just need the facilities in my shelter to be enough.

We finished the snowman. I hope it at least cheers up the people in the shelter :P

I threw so much wood in the stove that the screen saying you don't need to throw more wood is a bug XD That's funny hahaha. But whenever there is one less wood, it gets cold inside and they start to get sick.

I harvested vegetables for the second time and I'm going to start growing new ones. Normally I can do more but I'll need water and I can't find it easily. So let's keep it like we do before.

Can you guess where I'm going tonight? Yeah, I'm going to the brewery again XD Because I don't need a new adventure when there are still things there that I can use. Especially in such a difficult situation.

I don't know if I'll ever come here again, so I tried to get all the valuable stuff that I can use or barter for. There's alcohol, medicine and much more. I hope my barter buddy comes tomorrow!

I think that's enough for today my friends, huh? We had a lot of things happen again in this chapter. Maybe we didn't kill anyone but we were attacked, someone got sick and most importantly winter came! I didn't see any benefit except the snowman :P That's just an image.
