Saludos, hoy siguiendo la propuesta de la amiga @nathyortiz que nos pide leer por 7 días un género diferente de lectura esta vez nos corresponde hablar de un cuento clásico, confieso que amo mucho esas historias infantiles aún sigue siendo mi lectura favorita.

Greetings, today following the proposal of the friend @nathyortiz who asks us to read for 7 days a different genre of reading this time it is our turn to talk about a classic story, I confess that I love those children's stories, it is still my favorite reading.

De tantos cuentos leídos en mi etapa de infancia y que aún sigo leyéndoles a mis sobrinos y ahijados escogí el cuento del Patito Feo, ya que su historia además de ser tierna nos deja una gran enseñanza.

Of all the stories I read during my childhood and that I still read to my nieces, nephews and godchildren, I chose the story of the Ugly Duckling, because its story, besides being tender, leaves us with a great lesson.

El patito feo, es un cuento escrito por el danés Hans Christian Andersen, la historia comienza en una granja cuando una pata tiene varios patitos uno de ellos nacen grande y feo diferente a los demás hermanitos, por lo que todos se burlan y ríen de él diciéndole a cada rato feo, feo, el patito triste decide marcharse y a su paso siempre consigue el mismo maltrato y burlas. Con la llegada de la primavera se une a un grupo de cisnes que son los únicos que Lo tratan bien, allí los cisnes lo anima a que viera su reflejo en el estanque y para su sorpresa descubre que en realidad es un cisne hermoso no un pato feo, desde allí se siente feliz ya no se ve feo ni diferente.

The ugly duckling, is a story written by the Danish Hans Christian Andersen, the story begins on a farm when a duck has several ducklings one of them is born big and ugly different from the other siblings, so everyone mocks and laughs at him saying every time ugly, ugly, the sad duckling decides to leave and always gets the same mistreatment and mockery. With the arrival of spring he joins a group of swans who are the only ones who treat him well, there the swans encourage him to see his reflection in the pond and to his surprise he discovers that in reality he is a beautiful swan not an ugly duck, from there he feels happy and no longer looks ugly or different.

La enseñanza que nos deja este cuento es que no debemos juzgar a nadie sólo por su apariencia, porque no sabemos como herimos los sentimientos de esa persona y además, no debemos hacer algo que no nos gusta que nos hagan. A veces nos sentimos Feo y torpe como el Patito de este cuento hasta que aparece alguien que nos motiva a ver lo hermoso que llevamos adentro y no nos damos cuenta, como dicen por ahí, la verdadera belleza nace del interior.

The teaching that this story leaves us is that we should not judge anyone only by their appearance, because we do not know how we hurt the feelings of that person and also, we should not do something that we do not like to be done to us. Sometimes we feel ugly and clumsy like the duckling in this story until someone comes along and motivates us to see the beauty that we carry inside and we do not realize, as they say, true beauty comes from within.
