Hola, hermano y hermana de la comunidad PukuMundo. Somos una banda indonesia de Punk Rock de Medan. Nos gustaría dar las gracias a los fundadores de la comunidad para la construcción de esta comunidad impresionante como un espacio para la música Rock y similares. Gracias también a nuestros amigos de Hive que siempre nos apoyan para que sigamos siendo apasionados en compartir el contenido musical que tocamos tanto canciones originales como covers.

One of the weekly events in the #PukuMundo community is #singingvoice which has entered its 63rd week. That means the Pukumundo Community is getting better and better. So, today, we are back again at the PukuConcurso LaVoz Cantante event for this week. The song we played today is a cover song called "Ride" by The Vines. They are an Australian Rock band formed in 1994 in the city of Sydney. It consists of four members, Craig Nicholls, Ryan Griffiths, Brad Heald, and Hamish Rosser.

Uno de los eventos semanales de la comunidad #PukuMundo es #singingvoice que ha entrado en su 63ª semana. Eso significa que la Comunidad Pukumundo es cada vez mejor. Así que hoy volvemos de nuevo al evento PukuConcurso LaVoz Cantante de esta semana. La canción que tocamos hoy es una versión llamada "Ride" de The Vines. Son una banda australiana de Rock formada en 1994 en la ciudad de Sidney. Consta de cuatro miembros, Craig Nicholls, Ryan Griffiths, Brad Heald y Hamish Rosser.

This song was written by Craig Nicholls. It was released in 2004 on the album Winning Days. That year, I got to know the band The Vines and Ride was the first song I heard on MTV. Even every afternoon, this song was played on the radio. So, for every afternoon activity, I was accompanied by Ride and other rock songs. I didn't know what the song was about, but I enjoyed it when it played.

Esta canción fue escrita por Craig Nicholls. Se publicó en 2004 en el álbum Winning Days. Ese año conocí al grupo The Vines y Ride fue la primera canción que escuché en la MTV. Incluso todas las tardes sonaba esta canción en la radio. Así que, en cada actividad vespertina, me acompañaba Ride y otras canciones de rock. No sabía de qué iba la canción, pero disfrutaba cuando sonaba.

This song also brings back memories of 2010. At that time The Vines held their concert tour in Indonesia which was held at Carnaval Ancol Beach, Jakarta. When the song Ride was played, the whole audience was in hysteria, they sang while screaming and jumping. At the end of the song, Craig the vocalist slammed the mic and smashed his guitar on stage. Making the audience even more climaxed enjoying The Vines concert including me. For me, it was a very cool Rock concert. Below are the lyrics and translation of the song.

Esta canción también me trae recuerdos de 2010. Por aquel entonces, The Vines celebró su gira de conciertos en Indonesia, que tuvo lugar en Carnaval Ancol Beach, Yakarta. Cuando sonó la canción Ride, todo el público estaba histérico, cantaban mientras gritaban y saltaban. Al final de la canción, Craig, el vocalista, golpeó el micrófono y estrelló su guitarra contra el escenario. Esto hizo que el público disfrutara aún más del concierto de The Vines, incluyéndome a mí.
