Hive Open Mic Week 148 - Bersinar Keyakinan (Original Song) by Indonesia Bersatu
Hello brothers and sisters, We are Indonesia Bersatu, a Punk Rock band from the city of Medan, Indonesia. It's great to be back and sharing music videos with all the full band members on the weekly #openmic event which has entered its 148th week. So, the theme for this week is "Starlight" which was chosen by this week's spotlight artist @leandri. This is an interesting theme, so we made an original song entitled "Bersinar Keyakinan", in English Shining confidence which was written by our vocalist, Opan Gobank on the same day.
We dedicate this song and we appreciate it to all the fighters for life who never give up against the hardness of life. Some people have bad luck as a result of the oppression carried out by the authorities. Many people in our area have experienced evictions and land grabs. Even though many refused and rebelled to fight for their rights, many of them were also imprisoned and beaten by the authorities. Even so, they still have hope to rise and fight and reclaim their rights that were usurped by power. And we continue with them.
We hope that this original song composed by our vocalist can be the fuel that triggers the fire of passion that blazes their struggle. So that they do not give up fighting for and defending their rights. We also dedicate this song to all of you in the Hive community who are also fighting for your family. We must keep fighting for our families, for our countries, for its people; how sad that they are expropriating lands that already have owners, if they do that, at least they should relocate all the affected families giving them decent housing, but not even for that the local governments are good for...
