Hello brothers and sisters, We are Indonesia Bersatu, a Punk Rock band from the city of Medan, Indonesia. Today we still play only two personnel but with recorded tracks. So, the weekly event #openmic has now entered its 161st week with the theme My Original Song. This theme was chosen by My Brother of Rock and this week's highlight artist @fernanblog. This is a cool and interesting theme, so we brought an original song entitled Mari Berkarya in English Let's Make Artwork. This song was written by me on the same day.

Through this song, I invite all of you to work, especially in the arts (fine art, music, dance, etc.). In my opinion, the theme for this week invites us to open our creative side to create something original from ourselves. Therefore, I created this song, inviting everyone to create and innovate in art, love and beauty. A slogan that I often hear and read is “Make Art Not War”. Art gives birth to beauty, peace and love. Meanwhile, war breeds suffering, revenge, and hatred. We'd love to see people give off some original music vibes. Because original art is one's personality.

In making this song, I created MIDI drum sounds with the FL Studio application. Maybe the sound of the drums still sounds electro because I'm not very good at editing this software. To record guitar and bass, I use a cheap soundcard and a makeshift laptop. Then edited a little using Adobe Audition software. For this type of music, I chose the Hardcore Punk genre because it's easy to play. Because I'm not good at playing bass. Below, are the song lyrics and their translations;
