Hi everyone, a few days ago we organized a hike, taking advantage of the fact that we had an errand to run and that, frankly, I personally needed some fresh air and to move around a bit. We talked to one of our friends from the group we've been meeting with, and even though he had already gone hiking the day before in one of the hills near where I live, he agreed to join us on this adventure. So, once we were all together, we headed to the pharmacy to run the errand my mom had asked us to do, and from there we started walking and walking, because our goal was to visit a new store, the Mundo Total branch here in San Juan de los Morros.

Hola a todos, hace unos días nos organizamos para hacer un poco de caminata, aprovechando que teníamos que hacer un mandado y que la verdad, personalmente, me hacía falta un poquito de aire y moverme un poco. Entre esto, hablamos con uno de nuestros amigos de este grupo con el que nos hemos estado reuniendo y, aunque previamente él ya había salido el día anterior en un senderismo en uno de los cerros de acá donde vivo, accedió a emprender esta aventura, por lo que, una vez reunidos, nos dirigiríamos a cumplir con el mandado que nos había hecho mi mamá en la farmacia y de allí a caminar y caminar, porque nuestro objetivo era visitar un local nuevo, el cual es la sede de Mundo Total acá en San Juan de los Morros.

And I say walk and walk because this store is located on the outskirts of town, and although we had been there once before, visiting what was then Traki, we took public transportation. But this time they insisted we walk so we could exercise and build up some stamina. The walk there went by quickly, since we were chatting a lot and caught up in all sorts of gossip along the way until, before we knew it, we were there. This new store is right next to Traki, so we decided to browse this one to see if there was anything new before heading to the one we were interested in. As for new things, we didn't see much, just some very unusual-sized plush toys that we found cute and fun, like a dinosaur plushie that was also a backpack.

Y digo caminar y caminar porque este local queda hacia la salida de la ciudad y, si bien ya habíamos ido en una ocasión anterior visitando lo que era Traki en ese momento, lo hicimos en ruta de transporte, pero en esta ocasión insistieron en que camináramos para así hacer ejercicios y porque así ganaríamos algo de resistencia y, pues, en el camino de ida se nos hizo rápido, puesto que estábamos hablando mucho y salieron muchos chismes en el camino hasta que, sin darnos cuenta, ya estábamos allí. Este nuevo local se encuentra justo al lado de Traki, por lo que la elección fue ir a curiosear este para ver si había algo nuevo y luego pasaríamos al que nos interesaba. Y pues, en lo que respecta a nuevo, no vimos mucho como tal, solo algunos peluches muy peculiares en tamaño y que se nos hicieron tiernos y divertidos, como lo era un peluche de dinosaurio que era morral.

We also noticed that they had reduced the size of their large space, giving it a backroom feel due to the way the lighting played with the view. After a bit of snooping around, we got to the main point: although it's already open to the public, this whole place is still being organized, with many spaces still being adapted. Something we noticed almost immediately upon entering was that there's free Wi-Fi for customers and visitors, which, while common in other places, is quite rare here in San Juan.

Así mismo, notamos que habían recortado un poco el gran espacio que tienen y nos dio esa sensación de un backroom por la forma en que visualmente juega un poco con la vista la luz del sitio. Luego de chismosear un poco, ya entramos en lo que era el objetivo principal y es que, aunque ya está abierto al público, este mundo total aún está en organización, que muchos espacios aún los estaban adaptando, y algo que notamos casi al entrar es que hay wifi gratis para clientes o visitantes, cosa que, aunque pueda ser normal en otros lugares, acá en San Juan es muy raro de ver.

Among the various sections we saw so far were a pharmacy, skincare and makeup, shoes, tools and household goods, appliances, and a food section. There are more, but they're still being set up and organized; however, it was quite crowded, so it was a bit difficult to move around. Even so, we were able to browse quite a bit, and they certainly have many interesting things. Regarding prices, we found them quite varied; some we thought were high, and others seemed surprisingly expensive. Even so, the number of shoppers was high, and personally, although it was a short visit, I left wanting to return to take a closer look at some of the products that caught my eye.

Entre las diversas secciones que pudimos ver que tienen hasta ahora están farmacia, cuidado de la piel y maquillaje, zapatos, herramientas y artículos del hogar, electrodomésticos y una sección de comida. Hay más, pero están en lo que es el montarlas y organizarlas; sin embargo, estaba bastante lleno de personas, por lo que costaba un poco moverse. Aun así, pudimos curiosear bastante y, ciertamente, tienen muchas cosas interesantes. Con respecto a los precios, los vi bastante varados; algunos consideramos que estaban altos y otros se veían sorprendentemente altos. Aun así, el nivel de personas comprando era grande, y personalmente, aunque fue una visita corta, quedé con esas ganas de volver para ver mejor algunos productos que llamaron mi atención.

In the end, because of the time, we headed back home. Just like at the beginning, we walked, but this time it felt longer because we were tired, we took a different route, and it was getting dark. Al final, por el tema de la hora, nos regresamos a casita; al igual que al inicio, también fue caminando, solo que en esta ocasión sentimos que fue más largo porque ya veníamos cansados y a su vez tomamos una ruta distinta y porque a su vez ya se estaba haciendo de noche. Aun así, fue una buena experiencia en lo que fue mover las piernas un poco y nos divertimos muchísimo, cosa que personalmente me hacía falta, por lo que, sin más y esperando sea de su agrado, muchas gracias por leer.
