I smiled at first not because I am a third class but I looked at people who graduated with such grades from when I was born till present if they have been able to secure a good job with it without been embarrassed in one way or the other.

It is obvious in Nigeria here that people who falls within that level are been rejected in corporate organizations in fact employment adverts will state it clear that only graduates with 2nd class upper and above are needed for their job interview that is if you pass at the end because there are tendencies that you might not get picked especially if there are applicant with higher experience than you.

2023 came in with the reminder for a need to have a skill.

Recently I went for an interview at a corporate firm in Abuja, Gwarimpa precisely. After sitting for their test, I was called upon to be interviewed and the first question I was asked after introducing myself was what can I do?

I listed out my skills in computer engineering field to the interviewer after all satisfaction that was when I got to understand it’s all about the skills not grade to meet up financial goals.

Soon automation may take over banking, teaching, driving, and agriculture that only less amount of laborers may be needed but to survive it financially there is a need for obtaining a skill now before it is late.
