Long time no see my precious Mandalas!

Well it's about time for me to make more kaleidoscopish mandalas. I started the first ones way back then, before the equilibrium, before the world had experienced it's first big bang, before the destroyer of magnificently good ideas and societies, yes, you know what I'm talking about, before the curse word that has an s and a t and an m in it and also couple of ees. Not water, not ice but the devil itself, the thing that the great thief and liar stole and yes, I made a mandalakaleidoscope about that too.

If you don't know what I'm talking about and can't wait, scroll to the bottom and try to recognize the two, perhaps three mandalas made based on that story.

Now, it's time for FLOWERS!

I took this photo July 2022. And I think this is a perfect image to make few cuts, twists, turns and other basic maneuvers done in Photoshop. Nothing fancy, just crop, rotate, duplicate and hue adjusting.

Voilà! I made a flower... out of a flower. Not a car out of a flower or a building or a beautiful landscape that has mountains and clouds and forest and rivers and wild animals, all made out of a flower photo. No. I was more genius than that. I. Made. A. Flower. Out. Of. A. Flower.

Okay I made few mandalas too. Or kaleidoscopes. Or mandalopes. Years go by and I still can't decide what I call these. Deciding a name is really hard.

Anyway. Making these thingies is very therapeutic for me. It kinda makes itself when I start and I just have to know when to stop. That's actually really hard sometime. Not to add one more thing. And not to start yet again another mandala because ideas just pour in to my head. Or put of it. I have no idea which one. In or out. But it doesn't matter. As long as there's ideas.

The kandalopes are kinda symmetrical. Except when they aren't. Some non symmetrical things are intentional, some are not. And the accidental asymmetrical mistakes are okay because too perfect is suspicious and dull. And I don't want my mandalopish kaleidas to be boring. At least to my eyes.

So there was my newest mandala series, underneath this all there are all my previous kaleidoscopicos mandalopicos.

And I need help naming these.

Thank you! Nice to know that someone else also likes these, I always think when I make these that all the mandalas are really awesome but when I publish them, my thoughts are the exact opposite, something like: Oh god these are so stupid. 😁

This is awesome. I just created a little zen art on my sketchbook and it started as a flower. :D

Thanks! Creating all kinds of symmetrical things is so satisfying. :)
