Striper and Stripehair - Story Continues

It's a good thing that I went through my art files listing my unfinished art work and projects for my previous post because when I saw the Striped art pieces I got an idea and managed to continue the series. And the story, although I feel that I'm not that good in it.

Actually who am I kidding, I rarely feel that I'm any good in anything vaguely related to art. (Actually's actually, I have no idea why I wanted to add the "vaguely related to art" words. Should have ended the sentence after the word: anything.) I feel that most of the time I just suck and the rest of the time I suck but in an okay way that can be ignored with a shrug.

There you have it. You got the truth about me so now we can move on.

My main goal is to study stripes, black and whiteness and building something new from old illustrations by cutting, remixing, twisting, turning and drawing more. Just like the Water vector series, I'm doing the same thing over and over again, same theme, same tools but still trying to create something new.

Of course there are some limitations since I also decided to make this a story so that things wouldn't be too easy for me. As if they ever were. There appears to be two main characters in my story and I guess I can't change their appearance too much (although I've done that, just a little bit) so that the characters still remain recognizable. For the sake of my story. At least for now since the story has just begun and I think, if I try to make this a proper story, there needs to be some getting acquainted with the characters before the action starts. If it ever starts because who knows where this story is going. Not me.

The story

	Hatlady She closed her eyes and tried to feel something. But she had no way of knowing if he was still following her. She could only hope that he was because if she would turn to look, he would notice her oh so innocent turn and vanish forever. The city lights, the noise, all the people and the traffic made it impossible for her to sense anything. But that was the point. Meeting in a place where she couldn't hear his breathing or feel his heartbeat several steps away. She looked at her shoes and thought about continuing her walk but something stopped her. A silent demand. And then she knew. If she would raise her eyes, he would be standing right in front of her.
	Stripehair And there he was, behind him the sun, shining brightly to her eyes, giving him a tiny advantage. Or that's what he thought. What might he be hiding there, behind his back? she thought and tilted her head so that the brim of her hat blocked the bright sun rays.
	Striper He took a step to the side. And then another one revealing what was hiding behind his back. And what was it what was lurking there? Hissing, whizzing. Venomous eyes, cunning mind. Master of surprise, deadly blitz in disguise. Striper. "Is this it", she thought. The final confrontation she had been expecting. This could be it.
	Fierce She took her hat of, threw it on the ground and stared right in to his eyes. Her mind was locked on him. This time he wouldn't get away. She saw Striper waving it's venomous tail but her main focus was on him. She knew she could take Striper down with her little finger, not even blinking her eyes, or let her loyal shadow deal with it, so she was not worried at all.
	Striper & Hair He stared at her, she stared at him. What seemed to be an eternity but only lasted few blinks of an eye. That is, if either one had blinked. After that passing moment, few blinks of eternity, he calmly took a breath and almost whispered: "Striper unite" and before the second word had ended, Striper had wrapped itself around his core and mind, revealed it's spikes and he had opened his wings.
