Traveling to Jyväskylä to see Hiveians

I'm on my way to Jyväskylä to a Hive meet. I think 4 of us Hiveians are going to be there. That's about half of the population of Finland. It's a wonder any of the businesses here are alive since the 4 four business owners around the whole country now have to visit each other since their regular customers are all in a Hive meet. But of course they all take turns.

It's a terrible hassle sometimes when I have my own business in Tampere but all of a sudden at winter time for instance one person that was supposed to be a customer in a ski resort becomes ill and I immediately have to leave everything and travel by train to the north, 8 to 10 hours in a train so that I can go ski as a customer. But when I get there I find out that the entrepreneur has also become ill so I have to cover both people. So I make myself pay a disgusting amount of money for renting the equipment and for a day ticket and at the same time as I supervise the lift I have to go up and down the hill all day. None of our hills are even small mountains so downhill skiing the whole day is so annoying. Two seconds down, ten minutes up.

And when I get hungry and have to feed myself in a fine dining restaurant? (Not sure if there are any near a ski resort. The food there costs lots of money but is far away from fine dining.) That is an impossible task because I'm a shitty cook. Or at best, an awarige cook which sometimes is better than some restaurants have. But anyway, I have to cook something edible, make myself think it's the best food I've ever had and again pay so much for it that my brain starts to bleed.

So that's a hassle.

Then again perhaps I exaggerated little. There are more that 8 people in Finland so things aren't that bad. Perhaps there are 800 people here. And although other people from other countries might think it's not much for a 338 454,61 km² country, we think it's enough. So we do not want any tourists here. WE CAN MANAGE THIS THING JUST FINE ON OUR OWN!

And anyways, the way things are right now, I've heard that not that many travel to other countries. Only those who want to carry on doing things like before. Or those who think that now is the last chance to do anything. Because everything is going to be different after this year and no-one is allowed to do anything that is considered fun or uncontrolled. Unless you are rich. Then you can pretty much do anything you did before.

But now that we got that sorted, the population of Finland and what do we think of people, I'll continue my journey to Jyväskylä. Off to see people.

Uh.

People.

Without a mask.

I don't know if they are but I am.

We don't have a mandatory mask rule here in Finland.

Because polar bears aren't going to spread this world wide you know it's name. Not going to say it because I've heard that if you repeat the pandemics name three times, you get it.

But polar bears. We have those. In the summer time too. Not kidding. More common than people.

Off to see some polar bears. They are named @eveuncovered, @celestal and @rrusina.

Have a good time catching up with those polar bears. Say hi from me. (I'm not a polar bear.)

It sounds pretty nice...The only thing missing was the G-dog! Well, I wasn't really missing, just not invited, but it makes me feel better to think I was but couldn't make it. Actually, Eve and I were planning to catch up when I was there in July, you may recall. It would have been cool I guess, but the flu, you know. I'm glad you had a good time.

Oh but you were invited! At least in my mind! Didn't you get the message? I tried so hard to think about it, I was sure you got it. So sorry my COME HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT! thought got tangled to someone elses brain waves and you perhaps only heard: GO HUNTING RIGHT NOW!

Let's hope there soon will be a chance to meet in person. :)

Lol, I heard a faint come here right this instant vibe in my head, but it was faint and so I didn't respond...I'll be more in tune with it next time though! 🙂
